Alison's POV
It's been almost an hour and Emily hasn't texted me back. I know she felt something when we kissed
My phone starts ringing I immediately get off my bed and run to my phone hoping it's Emily I answer the call
Hello?
It's Emily's Mom
Alison: Hi Mrs.Fields
Mrs. Fields : Alison you can call me Pam like I've told you a bunch of times
She laughs through the phone I smiled
Alison: Right I'm sorry Pam so what's wrong?
I hear her sigh
Pam: Can you come to the hospital? Ask for me room 212
Alison: I'm on my way

I parked and went to the front desk they took me To Mrs. Fields room she was in a gown watching tv I knocked on the opened door and came in she looks at me and smiles
"What happened?! Are you okay?? Does Emily know? I'm sorry I'm asking so much questions" I quickly sat next to her and grabbed her hand
"Emily and Esmeralda left an hour ago. I wanted to talk to you"
I nod "Can you please tell me why you're in the hospital" I told her
She nods "I have a brain tumor and I'm getting surgery tomorrow"
I instantly feel tears fall "I'll be okay Alison."
I grab both her hands "Mrs- I mean Pam You'll be okay okay? You're a fighter and I know you'll get through this I never told you this but I love you so much and I've always thought of you as my mom honestly"
She smiles "and I always thought of you as a daughter Alison..what I needed to talk to you about was if I don't make it"
"Don't say that" I said I wiped my tears away
"If i don't make it i want you to take care of Emily Alison. I've told Esmeralda too but Just in case I want you to take care of her you saw how she was when her father passed you were there to take care of her helping me."
"I already have all the important papers under my bed my keys are in my purse. You should probably get going now it's getting late" she says
I nod and hug her "I'll be here early in the morning get some rest I love you" I said
"I love you too" she says I closed the door leaving
