chapter one

Frisk, was sitting near the edge of MT. Ebbot, below them, was a lovely mass of water. They thought it might be fun to swim in, but they were not that stupid! No one ever returned from there! They sighed, maybe it was time they went back to the party...

Just as they stood up, (still near the edge mind you)They felt a shove on their back, and then...they fell.

Frisk screamed in fear also hearing the person who pushed her scream. They splashed into the water after such a high fall everything hurt at that moment, but Frisk also knew that they had to swim to the top to survive!

After a few seconds that felt like an eternity, Frisk breached the top.

They looked up to see their little brother that probably had no idea they would fall, but they did. Frisk heard him scream "IM GONNA GET HELP HOLD ON!"

Frisk nodded, but remembered her class, and that no one could cross back up after they fell. "WAIT...I cant come back up..." They called up "I'll uh look for a place to stay and keep away from monsters! I'll figure out how to get out just tell everyone I'll be okay!" Frisk called tearing up. Their brother shook his head a few times before he nodded slowly "I'm sorry I'm sorry" he whispered

Frisk turned their head and saw a small boat floating to them "GO GO" they called assuming it was a horrible monster on their way to kill them...they didn't want their brother to see that. He slowly moved away screaming "MOM!"

Frisk started to take deep breathes as it came closer and closer, they saw a much bigger boat a bit off in the distance. 'oh gosh oh gosh oh gosh' they thought.

eventually, the small boat made it to the petrified child

strange...frisk noticed it looked like a human..?

they had a palish kinda skin and messy reddish-brown hair that was tightly braded with beads in a few places they were wearing a green jacket with yellow shirt bandana on their head.

They were reaching their hand out to Frisk.

Frisk slowly reached their own handout. "greetings, I'm Chara, and your name is?" Chara helped Frisk into the boat as Frisk told them their name

"well that's a nice name...I would suggest you come with me to my ship as I can already see Pap on his way and you don't want him to find you

or my father

or brother...

but I mean flows is taken care of...

so yeah let's go!" she said starting to row away pretty quickly. Frisk stayed quiet until they noticed Chara looking tired "want my help?" they asked

Chara looked at Frisk "Yeah thank you know how to row this? kid?" they asked

"no but it looks easy...?" Frisk muttered
Chara chuckled "not really but uh I'll show ya!"

Chara went over it with Frisk as quickly as possible, as they had started to freak out at someone named Papyrus coming?  
Frisk and Chara were rowing as fast as they could, Chara breathing getting faster and faster "come on he's gonna kill us if he gets to us before we get to the ship!" she said, "he hasn't gotten this close in a while go go go!" They yelled as they got closer and closer to Chara's ship

"so their gonna be cool with me right?" Frisk asked, "well I'm hoping my mom can pull us up, and we can get into my cabin without trouble

once we get in the cabin just ignore the talking plant he's kinda a prisoner who is only kinda nice to me sometimes?" she said chuckling "anyway me and my mom can figure out how to make you look like a monster so Captin don't try and take your soul!"

"TAKE MY SOUL?!"

"yeah I'll explain but let's just get on the ship first!" they said calling the name 'TORIEL"

a goat person who had a purple dress with cut white sleeves ran up "oh my child you're safe! who is-" she was cut off by Chara putting their hand on their mouth "SHHH just take ME up and I'll explain!" she said Toriel nodded pulling them up. "okay stay behind me or really just out of veiw...run in three...two...one!" they reached the top and both bolted into the room probably drawing attention but Frisk hoped no one saw them...

a Flower looked up glaring at them "WHO ARE YOU AND WHY ARE YOU HERE?" 
"Flowey shush," she said glaring at him looking through her clothes or something? frisk couldn't tell...

"what?!" Flowey asked, "no one knows they are here got it?" she said turning to him. "sure okay Chara" Flowey muttered rolling his eyes. 

she sighed grabbing out a more pirate looking outfit "okay let's start with this and we can figure out the monster stuff with mo-"

"Cares can I come in?" a deepish voice said
Chara froze "oh no..."
