After my forced accpetance of a job I was ushered out of the room by more guards in skiny black beattle armor. I sighed feeling the full weight of my tiredness as we walked down another pristine white hall. They walked without saying anything and it felt like someone had shown my mouth shut or I had eaten all my words. There was a dull pounding in the back of my head but I didn't think it was going to be another black out.

"Into the elevator," said the guard his voice was all static because of the helmet he wore. I nodded and obeyed stepping into the elevator.  Ironaically the damn elevator had music. it was high pitched and jazzy like horror music and jazz had a baby. coldness rocked my body as the elevator went. I couldn't tell wether it was up or down. Neither of them said anything or punched a button.

A soft thud and the door snapped open. we were back in the old hospital wing. The one I had walked down with father and Ana after he picked us up. So they were connected after all. Who knew. We trudged onward and I felt so numbed with cold that each step could have sprouted ice sicles. eventually the guards stopped at a single door that looked rusted with age. he knocked and at a mumbled reply opened the door. I was shoved forwards and greeted by the light brillant light.

The room had high ceilings like what I might have found at the inner rings library. However all the brillant light that I had though belonged to the sun were produced by clusters of florescent light strung from the high ceiling. all around the room were hospital beds. they had machines hooked up with an assortment of tubes dangling procariassley from either side of the thin metal bed frames. In the beds they were kids of all ages I noted that nobody seemed to be past the age of twenty. My heart fell at a strange realization they were all rabids. I was in a hospital ward for Rabids. I tried to back out off the room but the guards blocked me entrance.

" I want to leave. I want to see my father. Now!" I said trying my best to act like a child. If I acted calm they would forcce me to do something but acting like a child would make me seem pitiful.

"We can't do that miss," said the taller of the two. he hadn't spoken and it was only till now did I notice that his voice wasn't filled with static.

"I don't care. I want to see my father now!!!!" I screamed trying to act as imature as I could. even if I had mass hysteria surely they would remove me from this room. Away from all the weird machinery attached to living breathing Rabids.

"You are to stay here and start work that was our orders for you. they came directly from Dr.Gofer," said the shorter one his voice all static. I shiver not human at all.

"Doing what exactly? Their Rabids don't you want them dead anyways? After all than you don't have to hunt them down," I said clearly exasperated.

"You are to stay here and start work---"

"I heard you the first time," I screamed in frustration. I wanted to sleep. I wanted to yell at my father and dammit this was putting a kink in both those plans.

"that was our orders for you," said the short one again. with that the taller one along with the shorter soldier exit the room the door clicked shut and I'am alone with a whole hospital ward of Rabids. I looked around the room for anything that might be useful. It was than that I spied a hard wood desk that must have been as ancient as the door. I walked over to it's small spot in the farthest corner from the door. I stare at all the rabids. Their eyes as glossy as a dolls and not one of them utters a word. I quickly moved past the rows of beds and find the desk.

There's nothing on top of the desk but I find three small droors to the left of the desk. I open the first and find a medical and anatomy book about Rabids. In the second theirs a thick yellowing notebook I open the book and find it completely blank. a single pencil long forgotten rolls out after the note book. I guess there a pair. The third droor which was by far the biggest has two thick wool blankets, a pillow and a hygiene bag. I sighed nothing useful. Beside the desk in the corner there was a thick metal file cabinet the keys placed on the top and a small cot like what father had in his room. I set the pillow and one of the blankets on the cot. I then put the other one on top of me.

Even though I'm in a room full of Rabids I don't care I need sleep. My mind drifted back to the Rabid I had met today. Back to how I calmed him down how he held my hand. I sighed and snuggled into the blankets.
