Scarlet Rose

Prologue

Hello everyone before you read this story I would like to remind you that this is made from my own imagination so all events or names etc that will occurr that is similar to other stories or movies or anime etc are purely coincidence,

Let me warn you that this is my first story and book so it may have a lot of flaws in it and if you don't like it please do not read it and do not post any rude comments if you really do hate it, I'm sensitive okay I can take your opinions though, so enjoy!

"Hey Sylvia! Are you ready?! Come on out and have breakfast! We can't afford to be late!" shouted a young man who has a white hair that reaches his shoulder and is clearly a 18 year old man

He was eagerly waiting for his friend to come out, today was their graduation day and they can't afford to be late, it was a good thing that he went to her house to check on her if not she probably have slept until noon.

His friend Sylvia finally came out of the room with her dark violet hair dripping wet, clearly having just finished showering, she sat down and hurriedly finishing her breakfast that Reviel made for her, Reviel stood up, took a comb, blower and started to fix Sylvia's hair. After that They finally got out of the house and rushed to their school and just in time the ceremony has started.

The ceremony has ended and each student waved goodbye to their friends that will move out, Reviel also said his goodbyes with his friends and went to talk to Sylvia

"So where do you plan to go next? Your not going to college, and you don't have a family to return to." He said with a sad voice while looking up in the sky and leaned on a wall

He heard no response from her which made him worried, he sighed and spoke out " if you want you can live with us, my parents don't mind and your already like a family to us that is if your alright with that"

Sylvia in surprise turned her head to the man and smirked " are you confessing your feelings to me"

Reviel flicked her forehead as he laugh out loud " stop your foolishness I'm only telling you this because you helped me once I'm just returning the favor, I only think of you as a friend okay"

Sylvia once saved Reviel when he was almost hit by a bus

"Hahaha I know, I know I was just kidding around, who knows maybe I'll go to college if I change my mind"

" is that so, well keep me updated then, I'll be going they're calling for me" he said as he turned his back on Sylvia and slowly vanished

Sylvia went back home and collapsed in her bed sighing, and eventually falling asleep,

While sleeping, voices in her head kept speaking, familiar voices kept screaming and faces keep appearing, in fear she woke up in cold sweats, panting then she sighed "that dream again, when will it stop."

Remembering her past she went to the basement and stood in front of a door where locks and chains are put together, she leaned against it for a while after that she unlock all the locks and went in.

She stood firm as she opened the lights and there, in that room welcomed her weapons, guns and katana's she ignored those and took a box, opened it and took out the things that are being kept there, pictures of her past, one was when she was a child around the age of 6 and in the background was a beautiful nature with trees in the sides and in the middle was a lake, that was the only thing she has when she was small

She couldn't remember anything from her childhood, all she knew was when she woke up one day, she was lying on a hospital bed unable to recall anything, all she could recall was the place where she was staying now.

After that she put the picture in her pocket then took out the rest of the pictures, those where taken a years later after that incident, where she met Leo, her times with him was the best until something bad happened the other pictures were took in a pub where there were her and her acquaintances.

She remembered those times and a grin slipped her lips... but she knew she couldn't go back... not after what she did. She returned the pictures in the box and took it with her, she closed the door and returned the locks and chains

She went to her backyard and a strong wind has welcomed her as soon as she comes out, it was windy that night, she lit a fire then threw the box into it causing it to burn, she wanted to forget those times, those memories, maybe then she will forget those awfull dreams she's been having she did not wait for it to burn thoroughly and just went back in, she took a jacket and went out

She went out of her house to take a night stroll and just in time so did Reviel, so they went and walked, chatting happily until they heard something loud, they took a look and in their surprise they saw a helpless man being knocked down by some gangsters in the street, there were 5 of them in total, both looked at each other and agreed to help the man

"Hey! Will you stop beating him up he can't already stand" Sylvia shouted as they come closer to the scene

The gangsters started to laugh" look stay out of our business and mind your own, you b*tch" one with a high toned voice said while acting cool

And of course Reviel who couldn't take anyone who criticizes his precious ones punched the guy when he couldn't stand what he said to Sylvia, the others but in and started to fight while Sylvia tried to help the man who got beaten up, she knew Reviel could take 5 people at once since he did learn some martial arts and it was obvious that the enemy are weak

As she took the man aside he was unconscious, somehow he was familiar she thought but ignored it she headed back to the fight to help Reviel but didn't had to because the fight was already done when she came back, she saw Reviel sitting on the person who mocked her earlier while the other 4 were groaning in pain

"Lets go the man was terribly hurt, I think aunt can help give first aid"

Reviel nodded and went back the the man, he carried him on his back and they went back to Reviel's home to give him some aid, while walking she kept staring and gasped when she saw the necklace he was wearing

When they got to Reviel's house his parents were in panic, his dad talking to the phone with someone while his mom was shouting in panic, "we've got to find the messenger from the Skyler family if not were dead!"

After hearing the conversation, she finally confirmed who that man was but was still not fully convinced, but one thing isn't right she thought
