Trap

"Sir, the car is ready to go"

I looked at my men and nodded. Right now we're getting ready to meet the Kings. "What about Aster and the others"

"We just receive their message, they're already on their way, along with Kyler from the North and Hazle from the east."

"Good. Lets get going then"

I walk out of my office and into the car and suddenly my phone rang. It's from an unknown number but nevertheless I still picked it up.

"Where are you?" It was the same deep tone that once called me in my sleep. This bastard, only calling me when he needs something

"I've been calling you since yesterday why haven't you picked up."

"We were preparing for today's plan. I didn't have time to answer your calls and don't you speak like that to me."

"Yeah, yeah, yeah, you and your excuses. We're already on our way. The East King and the others are also heading to the location as we speak."

"What of the West?"

"They have yet to respond. But we're sure that they would join the alliance."

"Okay. Be on your guard you don't know what will happen with this alliance, especially with an unknown background like the West."

"I know, you don't have to tell me. Where are you by the way."

"I'm already on my wa- creeaaak- Crash."

My eyes widened a bit and looked at my phone as I put it back and forth to my ear and in front of my face

"Hey! Hey! What's going on! Are you alright! What was that crash! He- ~beep~ ~beep~ ~beep~"

"Dammit! At a time like this!" I shouted in confusion as I throw away my phone.

I turned around my car and started to drive back. Judging from the distance sound in the background of phone he must be close around here.

I drove for about 15 minutes and turned to a corner and just then an empty road with a bombed car entered my vision. Sure enough it was his car.

Quickly, I got out of my car and rushed out " Hey! Where are you! Give me a damn answe-"

Bang!!

I got cut off by the sound of a gun and it was targeted at me.

"Seriously" I looked at my wound and at the same time I fell down.

"Hey, where are the Kings? Did they arrive yet?" I looked at Kyler and asked him

"No, not yet. The southern King is on his way and so does the others"

"That's odd. They should have arrived now. The meeting start 5 hours from now."

"Yeah, not only that the people here are giving each other murderous looks. Especially our people and the Easternians ( author: Easternians are people from the east)"

I sighed as I turned around to look at the people gathered here. Each people are giving each other deadly glare. The only reason they aren't starting a fight is because of the order of their own King

"They can't help it. There's a lot of history going on between our King and theirs not to mention the relationship our people had with theirs." I shrugged my shoulders as I remember the reason between the fight going on around us.

I heard Kyler sigh and leaned his back on the wall with his arms crossed. "Lets just hope it won't happen with us and the east too."

He exclaimed as he pointed towards Gil and Catrin who are one step away from throwing everything they can see at each other.

"What happened with them?" I asked

"Dont know. Probably a stupid reason, I heard them arguing about something like a scarlet rose or something"

"Hmmm. What's that all about?"

"A myth. In what I heard its a story that was once well known here in the underworld but now it's just called a myth."

Hmmm. Quite interesting. "I'm going out for a bit. Make sure a fight won't break out."

I went to the door and opened it. To my surprise a gun directed to my head greeted me.

Armed people swarmed in, Windows were being crashed. Things were happening so fast that all we could do was draw our weapons and point it at them. They threw a smoke screen at us and we couldn't shoot cuz if we accidentally shoot some Easternians and Southernians war may break between us too.

"No one moves! Hands in the air or else we'll shoot them"!

Both our attention and our weapons   went to the door where the sound came as the smoke screen started to fade.

Our eyes widened as we saw their hostage.

In front of our very eyes there lies a man with blood all over his body and unconscious. Half dead

At his side is a child, crying heavily with all of his limbs tied up. Both the Easternians and Southernians started to panic as they saw their beloved. They started to scream as they shout their name.

Though I have not known them for that long I saw them as my friends. My strength is starting to fade as I stare at the two hostages. Not long after my feet started to weaken making fall on my knees

"Reviel, Sean Gabriel, how the hell did they get a hold of you."

~~ Third Person ~~

"To think that the men of the three Kings would be caught so easily." I say as I watch from afar while sitting on the edge of the railings

"Shut it. They're out numbered considering only a few came to the meeting, not only that they manage to take Hazel and Aster's son as hostage."

I looked at my side and a woman with a spirit Fox mask came in sight.

"Jeez no need to tense up. I just find it amusing that they all fell into an obvious trap"

She eyed me head to toe and spoke again "I'll go down and help"

She turned her back at me making me quickly stand up from my seat and quickly grab her arm. "Whoa, whoa, whoa, now wait a damn minute, just because you came back doesn't mean you can do everything you want. Remember that your one of the Mask Bearers, they'll kill you if your spotted"

"Then what do you want me to do? Watch them die before my eyes?" She spatted as she pointed at the Kings men that are being shot on their limbs while the others shout while cursing.

"You should already know that the three Kings were also attacked. Even if you were to save them now, without a King they will die nevertheless, so you should stop it"

I let go of her and went back to my seat. I continued to watch and at the same time cars started to show up one by one. Men were rushing of of the car and into the building.

"Hey! Tania, come're quick!"

She came close and I pulled her closer "see that? That's the West Kings emblem. Why the hell are they here?"

She pulled back her neck and glared at me "stop pulling my neck. Anyway the question here is are they an enemy who set the trap or are they an ally who'll come to save them"

A smile crept to my face as I started to feel excited.

Damn, this'll be so amusing
