Mafia

"Hi I'm Vader Schniezle nice to meet you" he greeted and extended his hand, I was about to extend mine but was grabbed by the woman on his right

"Hiaya! The names Catrin, Catrin Sky pleasure to meet you" she cheerfully greeted which made me just nod, I looked at Vader who just sighed

"Please excuse her behaviour, that's how she normally acts" he took Catrin's hands that were still shaking mine and made her sit

"Somehow she reminds me of a cat" I giggled

"Believe me, I thought she was a real cat the first time we met" he chucked which made Catrin shot him a death glare

"Anyways, you must have many questions in your head, feel free to ask and I'm going to answer them all, consider this an explanation" he responded with a serious tone which made me nod my head

"Who are you people?"

"You may not believe us but no matter, We are the mafia"

"Mafia? Haha don't make me laugh, What do you mean by mafia? How the hell are my parents involved in the mafia!?" I said slowly raising my voice and ready to snap if I hear another stupid word

"You see, your mother was the daughter of one of our major people and naturally she was born part of the mafia, she attended collage with fake information about her to keep her identity safe and thats where your father met her, fell in love, married knowing her true identity and became one of us" Vader explained with a calm voice, I nodded trying to hold my anger

"Then how come I don't know any of these?"

"When you were around 5 trouble came into the underworld, so they needed to hide you for your protection since you are also an important person in the family, I believe you can recall some memories in here and some on the underworld of your childhood, they wanted to tell you in an age you could understand so that you wouldn't make too much of a fuse"

He highlighted the last 5 words clearly telling me not to overreact and shout, well sorry about that but I can't control my temper

"Okay, I get it, so basically were part of a mafia , this and that and whatsoever but there's no way I'm going to became a part of that!" I shot them a glare which made father and Vader sigh

"Well, that's what we want actually, but something big is happening in the underworld and your identity is already known, if we let you be, you'd be dead in a weak, we don't know who the enemy is and if they were to rival our strength, protecting you will also not be enough" father explained

"I can protect myself! You did teach me martial arts!, right dad?" I shouted in anger finally letting of some of my anger

"We know that but martial arts is not enough, your enemy is armed and your not, try thinking back that you were brought here with ease despite your actions of so called can-protect-yourself" Vader snapped at me

I was about to protest when Catrin began to talk " if that's what you really want then fine, but remember those close to you can also be harmed, if death comes to their way you only have yourself to blame" she said with malice in her voice that made me feel fear and goosebumps but in a second she went back to her childish personality

I didn't think twice "fine then, I'll join the family" there was no way I would let those close to me get hurt, I can't afford to lose Sylvia, and no way can I let her perish, she is like my own flesh and blood

"Great, we already packed your belongings, were moving to the underworld later at midnight, your mother is already there" Vader stood up  and left with Catrin

"We have to move? What about Sylvia?, I couldn't even say goodbye" I asked father with great concern in my voice

He sighed "I know, I too couldn't say goodbye, she was like a daughter to me and your mother, but because we love her we have to go for her own safety"

I roamed around the mansion and remembered bits of my childhood memories here, it was already getting dark when I went inside, my mind was still trying to catch up to all of these mess

As I walked in I couldn't help but mumble " goodbye Sylvia"

As I went in everybody was panicking, I ask what was going on "am intruder came in" he responded while loading his gun and ran again

Then I heard a loud bang. Probably guns, the gun shot didn't stop, I went to the place where it came from and spotted dad, Vader, and Catrin and the other men shooting a masked man, he was wearing a spirit fox mask the one that you see in Japan and he was wearing a vest that was being covered by a leather jacket with two guns around it and two more around his thighs and two swords in his back, he was quick, flexible and obviously skilled, he was able to easily dodge the bullets, the guy was shooting at us but I noticed it immediately, he was not aiming at dad, Vader or even Catrin only those men in black

He glance at my direction and spotted me, as soon as he did he came running towards me, he took me by the arm and drag me away, his pull was so strong I couldn't shake it off"

We finally stopped running when we lost the men chasing us, he let me go and faced me, he was about to grab me again when I slapped his arm away, he was shocked for a second and I immediately took that opportunity to grab his arm, twist it around his back and was about to push him onto the ground but before I could do so he quickly grabbed my shoulder with his free arm bent down a little and threw me on the ground, I was forced to let go of him and touched my head which was the first thing to touch the ground

"Aahh shit! My head! Just who the hell are you!? What do you want from us!!?" I shouted in confusion while my vision was starting to get blurry probably the effect of being thrown head first

I heard footsteps coming from behind me and as look back up it was Vader while Catrin was trying to catch up, father saw me and quickly took me and distant ourselves from him

Vader pointed his gun at him but the masked man didn't budge instead he dropped the guns in his hands into the ground and  slowly came closer to us, my conscious was starting to fade

"Dont come any closer!" I heard Vader shout but the masked man didn't, he came closer and closer until his mask was already touching the tip of the gun I heard Vader shoot and after that I lost my consciousness
