Renagade ~Attack On Titan Fanfiction~

That Day, Humanity Remembered

A flash of lightning. I turn toward Wall Maria, and see a titan before me. A big titan. As in this one could see over the wall. Wait. What? No, there were no titans in existence that could see over the wall. But this one could.

"Move you idiot!!!" I hear my commander, Hannes, yell, just in time for me to grapple out of the way of the colossal titan's humongous, sweeping hand. "We have to inform the king!" he yells.

"I'll go!" I say, and start flying down towards the city.

While I'm in the air, I turn to look back at the colossal titan. I can't tell what's going on, but I can tell that there's movement below the wall. Then, BAM! There's a hole in the wall, and the boulder is flying towards me. I grapple right, and put on the gas, swinging out of the way just in time. 

This was absolutely nuts. I had to get out. The city was going to be overrun, and it was painfully obvious. Why did no one else see it? Nevertheless I continued my journey to Sina. I pass over Rose, and soon arrive inside of Wall Sina.

"Stop right there!" an MP officer yells. "What is a garrison soldier doing up here?" they question fiercly.

"There's a huge titan that can see over Wall Maria, and a hole has been breached in the wall!" I yell, pushing past the gaurd that is trying to stop me. "Commander Hannes has sent me to inform the king; you have to let me past!

"This is insanity! The wall couldn't possibly have been broken!" the MP laughed. "And a titan taller than the wall? Impossible! There isn't a such thing, and there hasn't been for more than fifty years!" they continued.

"Go up there and see for yourself, idiot!" I yelled at them, and at this point managed to just shake the gaurd off and glare.

The MP smirks, as if he was about to prove I was insane, and grapples up the wall. I follow him entirely for the sake of seeing his reaction. He has a look as if he is about to have a mental breakdown. Because I was right. Their precious little safety and peace had been broken. They'd have to fight. Part of me was so happy that the MP's would get a taste of what it's really like to be a soldier. But I knew better than to show them how happy I was about that. Plus the Scouts saw most of the action anyway.

"F-fine...," the gaurd mumbled. He turned to me with a panicked look. "FLY YOU FOOL!!! GO!" he yelled, practically pushing me off the wall. That bastard was so lucky I actually know how to use my 3D manuevering gear, unlike him.

I gas past all of the gaurds who had just seen what had happened on top of the wall, and they hurry and open the door into the mansion where the king resides for me. I skid on the landing in the entrance hall, and keep running, not caring about the fine red carpet that I had just bunched up.

"What is the meaning of this mindless interuption?!" the king spouted off, not even telling me to kneel, and obviously infuriated that someone was preventing him from taking his daily nap.

"Wall Maria has been breached sir!" I say, kneeling down on one knee and bowing my head so that no one could jail me for disrespect. "What actions do you want to take?"

Everything stopped. The king just stared at me as though I had just murdered his family in front of him. "Nothing," he said. That was it. Just nothing. "Let the residents bait the titans, and we will slay them at night."

This event was the one that got me to where I was today. I couldn't deal with the kind of crap that the royalty pulled in that so-called last stronghold of humanity. So I left. I don't even want to start my own community. (Why torture them to something actually intelligent for once? It might hurt their potato-sized brains.)  Instead, I've just got my own little hut in the forest of big ass trees now, and I've been surviving on my own.

And so that was the beginning of this story. I'll admit it, I have no idea what the name of the main character is. You can just pick one. Or suggest one. That'd be nice. :) If not I'll just pick one when I finally have to say her name. xD

I'm way open to suggestions on this story too, so it'll be kind of like a group "Choose-your-adventure" but if its not in her character at all, I do have the right to override it. That isn't to be mean, but I just tend to not plan when I write but I love getting feedback. Also if there's an actual plot type thing that's important happening.

Another random thing that is pretty unrelated...check out my youtube channel! I do some gaming, and drawing tutorials. And once my super secret project gets more work done..it'll be showing up here first, and getting some special attention on my channel!
