*Michael*

"Oh my god, Ally, what the hell are you doing here?" I groan looking at her while trying to slow my heart rate.

"I wanted to stop by and check up on you," She giggles, taking the guitar from my hands and walking into my bedroom to put it away. I've always hated how comfortable she was.

"So, how are you?" She asks as she exits the bedroom and walks back into the living room.

"My wife just died, how am I supposed to be?" I ask, tears begging to fall just at the mention of Tessa's demise. Ally doesn't say anything. Instead, she pulls me into a hug.

"How are you doing? She was you're best friend," I mumble as she lets go of me.

"I could be better. I've dialed her phone a million times. It's hard to believe she's gone. That's she's actually gone." She sits on the beige couch and crosses her legs. I nod in agreement.

"How's Stels?" She asks, looking around for her.

"She's doing better than I am. She's at Cal's," I mumble. She nods.

"Do you have a beer? I could really use one," She sighs before getting up and walking into the kitchen. She comes back with an open bottle of beer.

"What am I gonna do, Al?" I mumble as a tear slides down my face. She shrugs as she takes a drink.

"I want to tell you I know but I don't. I don't know what I'd do if Shelby died. I guess I'd never be able to move on," She mumbles. A small smile creeps on my face at the mention of Shelby.

Allyson and Shelby have been engaged for a year now and are getting married in July. Tessa was going to be one of the bridesmaids. She was really excited.

"I can't do this single dad thing, Ally. I tried helping Stella this morning and I couldn't even put her hair in a damn ponytail. And she looks so much like Tessa it hurts to look at her." Tears pour out of my eyes. Ally gets up and sits on my lap and hugs me tightly.

Sometimes Ally doesn't seem gay. But she is 190% lesbian.

"It will stop hurting eventually. And think of Stella as a reminder. A reminder of what you and Tess had. The love you had," She smiles, climbing off of me and returning to the other side of the couch. I nod and sigh before getting up and going in to the kitchen to get my own beer. I down the whole thing before throwing the empty bottle away.

Ally's phone starts ringing in the other room. She seems to answer it, answers a few questions and then hangs up.

"Hey Mike?" She calls. I step out of the kitchen to look at her.

"That was Shelby. I gotta go Clover isn't feeling well. I'll see you later. I love you, Mikey," She smiles before hugging me and walking out of the house.

Clover is Shelby and Ally's dog. I walk into my bedroom and fall on the bed. My dreams are cluttered with thoughts of a blonde girl with brown eyes who stole my heart.

This probably sucks. I'm kinda sorta really tired. So I apologize.
