Unthinkable

Chapter 3

"This is real" I kept telling myself in my head in between shouts and screams.

When 5sos was done singing "she looks so perfect", the whole stadium felt like it was going to explode from the loudness of shouting 1D fans when Harry came out and did a knee slide across the stage. He had his hair up in a thick headband and wore a black leather vest with black skinny jeans and a plaid red shirt underneath. Followed by Harry came Liam who ran out and jumped over Harry who was still on the floor. Jess started crying when Liam came out.

"Oh my god Elaina it's him, it's him!!" Jess screamed in my ear.

Next was Louis who came out and did a hip thrust to the beat of the drum. All the Louis fans started screaming so loud and for a minute I thought I was going deaf. I still was waiting for Niall to come out but of course next was Zayn, (not that I don't love them all). Zayn ran out and high-fived all the boys. Then finally my Nialler came out and did one of his ever so cute Niall jumps. My heart was beating so fast I couldn't stand it. I started screaming way louder and I kept shouting,

"I love you Niall!"

They started singing "better than words" for their opening song. Man did it kill me when Niall sang his part,

"Best I ever had, hips don't lie, you make me wanna *tssssss* one more night"

No way was this happening.

"I LOVE YOU NIALL!" I shouted.

The volume in the stadium was crazy. The concert kept on and me and Jess enjoyed every second of it. During "Little Things" me and Jess held up our sign we made that read "we love you boys". While Niall was singing,

"You'll never love your self half as much as I'll love you," Liam mouthed the words "I love you too" and made a heart with his hands then pointed to me and Jess. She started crying and screaming.

"He said he loved me. Liam freaking Payne just said he loved me!" Jess said while she was sobbing.

After "Little Things" was over, Niall looked in our direction and saw our sign. He looked right at me and winked. I died inside.

For the whole rest of the show Niall would take random breaks and stare at me for a couple seconds. Every time he did, I would start excitedly tapping Jess.

"See! See, Jess! He looked at me! He looked straight at me!" I said.

"Oh my god it's like he can't take his eyes off of you, Lainey!" Jess said in reply.

I remembered my letter for Niall. I threw it up on stage and it slid across it and the envelope caught Niall's eye. He could see it had his name so he picked it up and set it on the step he was sitting on. He looked at me and smiled, letting me know he saw that I threw it up there.

The concert went so quick. They were already on their closing song. They sang "what makes you beautiful" to end the night. I love that song, it never gets old.

"Goodnight Seattle! We love you! Thank you so much for having us! Goodnight crazy mofos!" Niall said as they exited the stage.

The whole crowd started screaming because they didn't want to leave, but eventually people started piling out of the arena. My section was last to exit because we were the closest to the stage. I couldn't believe it was over already. That was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. I kept thinking about Niall and if he would even read my letter.

"Do you think Niall will read it?" I asked Jess as we were exiting our seats.

"I don't know, Lainey. But the way he looked at you...man, you think he would have to read at least some of it." Jess said, sounding a little jealous.
