"Hey you want a drink?" The guy asked, I could tell the guy was quite drunk at the way he slurred his words and how he kept bumping into people "No, Thanks" I said as he shrugged his shoulders and walked off. I quickly walked out of the house and rushed into my car and started to drive to a diner we had passed earlier
I searched around my car knowing I had a book somewhere in the car. I was going to wait just in case Luis needed a ride
I plopped down in one of the booths as the waiter put down a menu in front of me
"Hi, What can I get you?" He asked with a kind smile
"I'll take some waffles and a coffee"
"Alright will that be all?" He asked as I nodded my head "Your order will be out in few" He said before leaving
Two drunk guys walked into the restaurant as they yelled for the waiter. He came out with my food and quickly placed it down before leaving to help the two guys
I slowly ate my food and took quick glances at the book. I heard someone slide into the booth I was sitting in and didn't bother looking up "You know you could've sat anywhere in this diner" I said "Yeah, but I recognized you from earlier" she said. I looked up and saw Camila "I'm sorry that was rude" I exclaimed dropping my fork. She giggled softly, and I continued to apologize
"It's okay Y/n" She said taking a slice of my waffle "Shouldn't you be sleeping?" I asked taking a sip of my coffee "Shouldn't you be in bed too" She quirked her eyebrow "True" I said "Do you want anything?" I asked and she shook her head no "You sure? Cause I'm pretty sure you're eating my food" I said as she continued to grab slices of the waffle before stuffing it in her mouth
I called over the waiter and asked for another order of waffles. I continued to eat what I had left of my waffles as Camila ate the other one "How'd you even get over here?" I asked "Walked" she shrugged "I'm eating waffles with a pop star" I murmured softly as she let out a small laugh "Guess you didn't expect that" She said covering her mouth "Definitely didn't" I said
Camila pulled out a twenty dollar bill "No, I got it" I said digging through my pocket for the thirty dollars I had and placing it on the table and got up checking the time "Holy shit I've got work in about 3 hours" I said grabbing my book off the table "Do you need a ride?" I asked glancing at her "Yeah" she said taking one last bite before getting up
"I don't know where I'm going" I said "Oh right I'm staying at the element hotel" she said and she grabbed the book that was on the dashboard "Do you have a pen?" She asked "Yeah in the console" I said lifting up my arm so she could look for it. I stopped at the red light and saw her writing something in the book and she kept writing till we got to her hotel "I sure hope you didn't rewrite the entire book" I said "Don't worry I didn't" She said getting out the car and running into the hotel
I reached over for the book and opened it to the first page and saw her number on it and pulled out my phone and saved it but before I could flip through the rest my phone rang and saw it was Luis "Y/nn I need a ride" He said slurring his words "I'm on my way" I groaned tucking the book into the console and made sure it was covered before closing it and drove back to the house
