Being the new student in school came with its givens. Having to move in with your grandparents because your parents died in an animal attack that somehow you survived also came with its givens. You had grown used to the little insults and weird looks that came your way. They didn't bother you as much now. Beacon Hills High School had been the second school you had been to that year, but at least here you had made a few friends. Scott McCall was the first friend you had made in Beacon Hills. Scott and you literally ran into each other when you both were rounding a corner at the same time. You were the one that fell backwards, your books and coffee going all over the ground. Trying to make up for the now coffee soaked papers, he bought you a new coffee after school, and from there Scott and you had grown closer. Of course with Scott had come Stiles, now putting you as the 3rd person in their group. Through Scott you had met Allison Argent.
It only took a short amount of time for you and Allison to grow close. One group study session with everyone had turned Alli and you at one of your houses twice a week. While there was a small amount of studying, most of the time was spent hanging out and watching movies. Two months had past since your first day and the weird looks were still coming. While you brushed them off, Allison couldn't stand what was happening. She would always stare right back at the person sending the look your way until they turned away and left you alone. You always told her not to, not wanting to have her start getting weird looks, but she said she wasn't that worried about. She was tired of you getting the looks and stares, and quite frankly, so were you.
Erica Reyes sauntered over to Allison and yours lab table during a biology lab, a smirk plastered onto her face. As multiple insults, all aimed at you, were coming out of her mouth, Allison turned towards Erica. Your eyes grew quite large as you heard what she was saying. Scott and Stiles turned around, ready to bite back at Erica and tell her to leave, but Allison had already started.
"Leave Y/N alone. She has done nothing to you. She's done nothing to any of you! If one more person says something rude to Y/N, just watch your back. Ok?"
Scott looked at you to make sure you were alright. You nodded your head. Allison turned back towards you, a small smile had made its way into your face. You pulled her in for a hug, squeezing your best friend.
"Thank you Alli. I don't know what i did to deserve you."
