Riverdale One Shots

Party til Morning

On Friday night while the Lodge parents were out of town for business Veronica had no choice but to throw a party.

It would be inner circle only, and maybe a few other people, but it would be great. Veronica Lodge threw the best partys in Riverdale, and everyone knew it.

Like any great event, it started with a group chat.

Veronica added Betty, Jughead, Archie, Cheryl, and Kevin to a group chat

Veronica: I'm thinking about having a party tonight while my parents are gone, would anyone actually go?

Archie: I can be there

Jughead: Betty and I have stuff to do, but maybe at like 8 or 9 we can show up.

Betty: ^^^

Veronica: great

Kevin: wouldn't miss it for the world

Cheryl: Can Toni come too?

Veronica: sure

Cheryl added Toni to the group chat

Toni: I'll be there

Kevin: wait if Toni can come can I bring moose?

Veronica: Sure i guess

Toni: Wait can Sweetpea come too? Hes looking over my shoulder

Cheryl: where are you guys?

Veronica: yeah sweetpea can come too

Toni: we're a the Wyrm

Toni: and he said thanks

Veronica: I invited Josie and the pussy cats too because they're always fun

Betty: cool

Kevin: wait what time are we supposed to be there?

Veronica: like 8

Kevin: see you then

----

So the plans were made. Veronica grabbed some drinks from her parents cabinet, and cleaned up a bit. After choosing a playlist and setting up her speaker it was already 7.

Kevin was the first to show up, with Moose. They took a seat on the couch and waited for everyone else.

"Wait are you two together now?" Veronica asked to break the silence

Kevin smiled "It's complicated"

Veronica didn't pry infront of Moose, but she was gonna get the full story.

Sweetpea, Toni, and Cheryl showed up next. They brought beer and chips with them "We needed to make sure there was alcohol" Sweetpea only kind of joked.

Veronica put on the music  while Cheryl and Toni sat close on the love seat.

Toni put an arm around her girlfriend and joined in with conversations. Moose and Kevin were joking with Sweets and after a few minutes Archie showed up.

"Hey guys." He said after giving Veronica a quick kiss.

Arch sat down with Veronica and smiled at everyone.

"Do you guys want beers? We bright them for a reason" Sweetpea said after Josie showed up.

Archie nodded "I'll take one"

"Kevin and i both want one" Moose said, earning a dirty look from Kevin.

"Two over here please" Cheryl said raising her hand.

Sweetpea handed out beers and checked his phone. "Oh hey, Fangs just asked if I knew about anything going on tonight. Is it alright if he comes here?"

"Oh yeah that's fine. The more the merrier" Veronica answered. Kevin jokingly rolled his eyes at the thought of drunk Fangs, or even drunk Moose at this point.

Then Betty and Jughead showed up "Hey guys, sorry we're late"
Betty said and gave Veronica a quick hug.

"Do you guys want beer?" Sweetpea asked.

"I'll have one" Betty said and held out her hand.

Jughead took one when Sweetpea offered. Then they took seats on the floor, because all the seats were being used, and joined the conversation.

"Fangs is on his way" Sweetpea said after he sat back down.

Kevin moved closer to Moose and let him wrap an arm around him. With that Veronica raised an eyebrow, that Kevin ignored, and Moose just smiled to himself.

Veronica turned up the music and opened her beer. Everyone talked and drank for a while, until Fangs showed up.

"Hey bro" Sweetpea said as he walked in. He tossed him a beer and took another sip of his own.

Cheryl and Toni sat close on the couch and had both been threw three beers by now. Toni was giggly and Cheryl was smiling. Sweetpea was almost tipsy and talking to Moose about football and how much he hated the bulldogs.

Archie had Veronica on his lap in the corner and he was talking with her, when she stood up to ask "Does anyone want so shots?"

Cheryl perked up and Moose took his arm off of Kevin to stand up. Kevin walked to the kitchen with him and Veronica started pouring Vodka. Cheryl, Moose, and Kevin did a round when Sweetpea, Toni, Jughead, and Betty walked in. After a few rounds of shots and a few more beers, everyone was almost drunk.

The music was blaring, and Cheryl was dancing with Toni. She was shaking her hair around and jumping up and down.

Moose and Kevin were sitting on the couch close, and talking about everything and anything. All while Betty and Jughead were heavily making out in the corner.
Sweetpea jokingly danced with fangs, and Archie was holding Veronica as they swayed to the beat.

They danced for hours before Toni and Cheryl snuck off to a room. Archie and Veronica crashed in her bed, and Betty made Jughead sober up enough to drive them home on his motorcycle.

Moose and Kevin slept together on the couch, and Sweetpea slept on the floor. Fangs drove himself home as the sun was coming up.

Everyone woke up with a hangover, but it was worth the amazing night they had.
