|~*~Die For You~*~|

Andy ran a hand through his hair before he spoke. “Listen Arella. About what happened that day, I-”
“Andy I get it.” Arella said calmly. “You still had feelings for Scout. I always suspected that you did.”
“What? No.” Andy said. “I had feelings for Scout before, but when I met you, all those feelings disappeared. I know you were probably wondering if I had even loved you, and I did. Not in the way I loved Scout. I loved you more than that. With you, things were different.”
“Well if you really loved me, then why'd you do it?” Arella asked. She felt tears spring to her eyes but blinked them away.
“I was being stupid. Scout came over that day and we started talking. Then out of nowhere, she kissed me. I tried to pull away, but she held me in place. And when she said that she still loved me, the old Andy, the one that used to have feelings for Scout, came out and said those words back.” he said. “As soon as those words slipped out, I instantly regretted it because it wasn't true.”
Arella shifted from one foot to the other. “Well what happened after that? I left right when you said that.”
“I pushed her away. I started saying that I didn't mean it. That I had a girlfriend who I actually loved.” Andy said. “Then I told her that she had to go. I wanted to call you and tell you what happened because I didn't want to keep it from you, but I got too scared. So I decided to tell you the next day.”
“But the next day you had band practice all day.” Arella remembered.
He nodded. “And then at dinner, I got your letter.” he said. A silence hovered over them. “It really broke me when I read your letter.” he murmured. “Knowing that you left because of what I did. I hated Scout. But mostly, I hated myself for being so stupid. It broke my heart when you left.”
Arella didn't realize that tears coated her cheeks until after Andy finished speaking. Andy was about to wipe them away, but she beat him to the punch. She wiped them away quickly. Andy's hand retracted.
“I didn't know you felt that way.” Arella said softly. “I thought that I was the only one who got hurt.”
“I was hurt more than you could ever imagine.” Andy said. “If I wasn't hurt, then that would've meant that I felt nothing for you.” he stepped closer to her. This time, she didn't step away. “You were my world. And I had it in my hands. But once you left, I lost it. I didn't know what to do. But I knew I had to find you somehow. And now I have.”
Arella looked up and met his blue eyes. He certainly did look older. But his eyes still had that familiar twinkle in them. They were still lined in black, but this time more than before. He used to have snakebites, but he had gotten rid of one of them so now he had only one black lip ring on the left side of his lip. His hair was still black, but this time she could see a hint of blonde in it. His hair was also way longer than before and looked fluffy. Through his hair, she could see a cross earring in his left ear. He was also taller now. She had only grown three inches so she was now 5'6. Andy looked to be 6'3.
She saw Andy's eyes close slightly, and instinctively, hers did too. She leaned in and soon felt a tiny bit of his breath on her face. He still had that familiar scent that Arella loved. Cigarettes, mint gum, leather, and just a bit of cologne.
Half of her was telling her to just kiss him already. That she had waited long enough for this moment. But the other half was telling her that this was wrong. That it was way too soon.
Her eyes snapped open and she pulled away. She coughed a bit. Andy's head snapped back too.
“I- I'm sorry.” he said. “I got carried away.”
“Its okay.” Arella said. “It wasn't entirely your fault. I got carried away too.” she continued. “I think we should just stay friends.”
“Does that mean you forgive me?” Andy asked.
“Forgive and forget.” Arella said. “So yeah.” she smiled.
“I'm glad to have you back in my life.” Andy said.
“So am I.” Arella said.
“And you and your band were really good. I didn't know you wrote songs.” he said.
“It was a hobby of mine for about two years.” she said. “And I decided to embrace it. And now here I am.” her smile grew. “And by the looks of it, your band got big, too.”
“Yeah we got signed about a year after you left.” Andy said. “What about you?”
“Same.” Arella said. “We have one EP out, one album, and our second album is coming out in a few days.”
“We have an EP out and two albums.”
“I'll have to check you guys out later.” Arella said.
“Me too. Your voice is really amazing.” he said.
“Thanks.” she said. She heard someone calling her and turned to see Ivan and Seth.
“C'MON ARELLA! WE HAVE AN INTERVIEW!” they yelled. Ryan came up behind them and gave them noogies.
“I'LL BE RIGHT THERE!” Arella called out to them. She turned back to Andy. “I gotta go. One, for the interview. And two, to separate them before they get into another noogie accident.”
Andy chuckled. “I'll see you at the next stop.”
“Bye.” Arella waved before running off to her band mates.
Andy watched her leave with a smile on his face. He has Arella back. Sort of... It hurt him that they weren't together, but at least she was back in his life.
