Vikings, who else is a fan of this show? I know I am. I just recently binge-watched it, again.
I mean, not only is this show very interesting historywise but man, aren't all those bear men and savage women just a bunch of eye candies.
Obviously, I didn't watch five seasons of a show just to drool over the cast (though this one would deserve it). I've discovered so many new things thanks to this amazing adventure. It brought new light on Vikings' lifestyle, their gods, and their customs. History channel sure did an excellent job.
How about you? What new knowledge have you gained from this amazing series? Was it just me? Or did you also go to google king Ecbert, Athelstan, Ragnar Lothbrok... and hunt down how much of the story is real and how much is a myth?
We've witnessed Ragnar's first raid to the West, we watched his life, all the ups and downs. We saw his children become men. Families falling apart and others growing closer.
What was your favorite season so far? Did you enjoy more the beginning when everything was fresh and new? Or later seasons where everything kept getting more and more complicated?
