Chapter 1: Friendships

It's been a 5 months since I met Hoseok

And all I can say is that

He's the best thing that has ever happened to me

I just feel so warm,protected and happy when I'm with him

I finally found someone who cares for me--

"Hey, Y/N."

I was startled by the sudden call of my name

"Hmm?" I responded.

"Where you even listening?"

My mouth fell a little agape

"Of course not."he let out a chuckle

I looked down to my thighs out of embarrasement and blushed a bit

He looked at me wide eyed and gave me this mischevious smirk

"Is Y/N embarrassed coz' she wasn't listening to meeeee?" he snickered

"Well sorry, I was just thinking about so--"

"I think that's really cute,though" he said as he cupped his face and stared at me with intense gaze

"I-I--I'm no-not cute!" I blurted out my face flushing and my hands gripping onto my skirt tightly

"Yes you aree~!" he teased

"Well no one really thinks that so haha." I said as I took a sip from my iced tea to calm down.

"Well,I think so." he said followed by playful wink and smirk

I almost blurted out my drink and my grip on my skit only tightened when he said that

then suddenly

His phone rings

His ringtone was "Sexy Back"

I stared at him wide eyed while stopping myself from laughing my ass off in a public place full of high-class people

"Really?" I snorted

He gave me a playful glare and mumbled an "excuse me" before going outside the cafe to answer the call

After 3 mins he came back

"Hey Y/N" he said with his killer smile
"What's up?" I replied with a smile back

"I'm sorry to cut our little date short but I need to go." he said while packing up his things

"like,right now?" I said in shock

"Yes,right now.Something urgent came up and I need to go.I'm rewlly sorry I'll make it up to you next week." he said while finishing packing up his stuff with a regretful look on his gorgeous face

"Oh it's fine,really.Go ahead." I smiled
"Be careful not to miss me ~" he taunted

"I'll try" Hoseok chuckled

"Bye, Song Y/N." he said as he blew a flying kiss towards me

"Goodbye, Jung Hoseok." I said catching the flying kiss and giggling

And there I was all alone while smiling and giggling like an idiot

You might think we're dating but we're actually not

This is just me and Hoseok's weekly routine.

Every week we go on a "date"
Not a romantic date, but like a friendly date.

It's not like I have any feelings for him. He's more like a companion to me.

Ever since I met him,all my pains and worries have disappeared like magic.
I don't even have to go to therapy anymore since Hoseok's here.

I love him as a friend.

I took the last sip of my coffee and headed home.It was a bit chilly outside so I wore my hoodie

I waited at the bus stop to get on the bus.

I looked at my wrist watch.

9:34 pm

It was still early so I decided to just ditch the bus and take a walk home to look at the scenery.

It was beautiful here in this part of town.
The moonlight was illuminating light which made everything look gorgeous. The breeze of the wind.
The trees' slow but steady movements.
It was truly a gorgeous sight.
The wind brushing against my skin, blowing my hair steadily.

I closed my eyes in relaxation.

"I wish Hoseok was here to see this." I mumbled to myself.

A hand tapped lightly tapped my shoulder.

I shrieked in surprised and turned around to see who it was.

"Oh no,did I startle you?" a man with a cute baby face was standing before me.
He was almost the same height as I was.

"May I help you?" I said to the black haired stranger.

"Ah yes,pardon me, but you just seem familiar,like-- I've definetly seen you somewhere.Perhaps..-Could you be Song Y/N?" I nodded in response.

"Yep, That's me.May I help you?" I awkwardly said.

He smiled at that, then I saw his cute eye smile.

Then I realized who he was.

"Chimchim? Is that you?" he chuckled in response and smiled widely exposing his beautiful pearl-white teeth.

"Oh you finally recognized me! Yayy!" he said while waving his cute short arms up in the air.

"Hi Chimchim!Long time no see! Where have you been?? Why haven't you been calling me? Since when did you get back from America?" I questioned him continously with curiousity and delight

"First off, Heyyyy Hon !! but slow down.Let's go somewhere,then J could tell you all the details" he chuckled once more while he pulled back his gorgeous jet-black hair.

"Oops, R-right. Hehehe I'm sorry!~" I cheerfully responded.

Then we spent the whole night catching up with each other. It was fun. I've never felt so happy to have seen an old friend before.We were laughing like idiots the whole night.After our "catching up" we stopped by the playground where we used to play when we were still like or something? We sat by the swings and gazed up at the moon.

"Beautiful,right?" he commented.
"Yeah." I replied still gazing up at it.
"Yeah but,You know what else is beautiful?" he looked at me with sparkling eyes.
"What?" I said still in my own world.
"You." I quickly looked at him with wide eyes and blushed red as a tomato at the remark. He was laughing like crazy.
"YAHH!!THAT'S THE OLDEST PICKUP LINE EVER!!" I hit his arm playfully while giggling.
"Well,yeah.But you fell for it." he chuckled.

I blushed even harder and looked away from his intense look.

"Just like the way I fell for you." he said in a serious tone.

His name was Park Jimin.

My childhood bestfriend.
