Chapter 6
The Haddock house
4 weeks late Hiccup turns 17 then a week after that Astrid wakes up & finds Hiccup is not their she feels a bit queasy so she gets up then she feels dizzy. "Oh I don't feel so good" Then she falls on the floor.
Down steers Hiccup is cooking until he hears a thump. "Oh no Astrid" He runs up to the bedroom panicky & when he opens the door he finds her on the floor. "Oh Astrid!" So he goes to her & picks her up then takes her to the bed & lays her down then Stoick comes in. "What happened? I heard a big thump" He asks. "It was Astrid I came up & fond her unconscious on the floor"
Stoick then sees her. "Is she ok?" "I don't know dad" "I think we should get Gothe to come & look at her" "Yes I agree but I don't want to leave her like this" "Son don't worry you go & get her, I'll stay with her" "But dad" "Son with Toothless you can get her faster now go" "Ok dad" So he goes down to Toothless fast & puts his saddle on then gets on. "Aright bud to Gothe's fast" Then Toothless fly's off fast.
When they get to Gothe's he knocks on the door then she answers. "Oh Gothe we need you at home it's Astrid she fainted & collapsed" She nods & gets somethings then comes back, he helps her on Toothless then gets on himself & they fly back to the house then when they get their He & Gothe go up to the bedroom & Gothe goes & looks at Astrid.
"Son I have to go ok I hope Astrid is ok see you later son" "Ok dad bye" As Gothe looks & test's her Hiccup is worried & scared then Gothe turns to him.
"So what's wrong with her?" Hiccup asks, Gothe drops sum sand on the floor & rights in it as he reeds it. "What, what do you mean nothings wrung?" Gothe rights more. "If nothings wrung what's the matter with her?" Gothe rights more again & as he reeds his moth drops open as he drops on to a cheer in shook. "Are you sour about this Gothe?" She nods. "Oh...my...god...I can't believe she's pregnant"
Then he looks back at Gothe. "Gothe how long has she been pregnant?" Gothe rights more then he reeds it. "5 weeks...then that would mean" Then he realizes. "That snogoltog night, wow the first time & this happens...wow" He says in his head & sits down again then Gothe leaves.
"Wow I'm going to be a farther, What's Astrid going to say when she finds out that she's pregnant & how will dad act then the village...oh boy" Hiccup sighs, then Astrid wakes up."Hiccup" He comes over to her & holds her hand. "It's ok I'm right hear" "What happened?" "You fainted" "I fainted...but that's not like me" "No it isn't so dad & me got Gothe to come & have a look at you but she's gone now"
"What did she say?" He rubs his head knavishly thinking how to tell her. "Um well" "Well what?" "Ok but before I tell you I need you to promise me you won't kill me or go crazy, please promise me that" She sees the why he's acting & knows it's something big. "What is it Hiccup?"
He takes a big breath thinking it might be his last then tells her. "You're pregnant" He says fast as he culls up in fear. "Please don't kill me please" Then nothing happens he looks at her & sees she is up right & looking shocked. "Are you aright Astrid?" Then she grabs his wrist what scars him. "I'm going to be a mother" "Yes"
"That's good...but oh no! That means I will have to go throe all that pane" She moans then he realizes. "Oh no Astrid & pane not a good mix & now she's pregnant means she will eventually get really angry she just might kill, well I'm going to have to get some good armor to protect me from getting killed when she gets angry" He thinks to himself.
Astrid smiles at him. "How long?" "Gothe said you were 5 weeks" "That mean's...snogoltog" "Yes snogoltog" "How are we going to do this Hiccup? I mean we are just 16, 17 & I'm not shore I'm going to be a good mother" He smiles. "That's right you will not be a good mother...you will be a great mother"She smiles."Really?" "Yes really, I'm more worried I won't be a good farther" "Oh Hiccup you'll be a great farther"
He smiles & kisses her. "So how are we going to tell your dad?" "Well seeing & knowing that you fainted, when he gets home he's going to ask about how you are & what happened so as I'm no good at lying we'll have to tell him the truth"
