Always (The story of Liliana Minerva Snape)

The end of year three, Liliana's new path

"Who's Wormtail ?" Liliana asked as she moved from the arm chair to Remus's side as he stared out the window. Holding his side, Liliana understood his transformation was hard on him and that these moments of pain were side effects of the potion.

"Wormtail, was a friend or at least I thought he was... Wormtail is the reason your mother is dead." Remus stated as he slowly walked to the arm chair to sit.

Her uncle told her the story of the Marauders, whom use to cause trouble even before the 'Golden trio'. When the tale was finished and the truth of wormtail was known to Liliana, her uncle slowly walked her to the dungeons.

"This is my stop, darling. Your dad could never get in the map but, let him know you know about that. Good nightm" Remus said with a low voice as he sent her in the path of her father's corridor.
Liliana nodded.

As she headed to her father's office and private quarters, she felt colder the deeper into the dungeons she went, it felt relaxing due to the new knowledge that wrapped her head. She opened the door slightly in order for her father to not notice. He sat on his armchair, staring at the reports he had given her class, when Remus absent due to his condition.

"Are you alright, Liliana?" he asked still looking at the report.

"I'm fine, father. I think I'll be going to bed. Goodnight. " she said as she stated the password to a portrait just to the right of her father that connected the office to the slytherin common room. Before the door opened, he closed it.

"Father? You don't usually say that unless you're lying, in deep thought, or with the Malfoys'. As far as I can tell, the Malfoys' are no where near here. So which of the others is it, Liliana?"

Liliana quickly  looked up at her father and then back down to her hands.

"I caught that Liliana. What is on your mind, darling."

Liliana rolled her eyes and quickly sat on the chair, "Ugh I got to stop doing that."

"Darling, you always have done that. What is this about?"

"I saw the parchment, Uncle Remus took from Harry. It's a map."This peaked her father's interest as he tilted his head for her to continue, "It's a map of Hogwarts. It shows everyone. I saw a name, Peter Petigrew. I remember Aunt Merv saying he was dead."

"Killed by Black."

"Then the map is wrong. Cause I saw his name roaming  the castle. It really really startled Moony."

"Do you remember the name of that map?"

"Misers Moony, Wormtail,Paddoot and Prongs. Congratulate Miss Snape and  present the Maurader's Map."

Her father chuckled a bit. "Your uncle...I assume wanted you to keep this a secret?"

Liliana quickly lied, "No."

'At least not this part', she quickly thought.

"Do not lie to me, Liliana Minerva."

"I'm not."

"Do you want to change that answer?"
