Smile and Bliss

Smile and bliss
That's all she ever showed

"Look at how happy she is" is what people said
But no one knew that on the inside she was dead

She needed someone by her side
But everyone left
So she started thinking about suicide

She thought about ending her life
She wondered what life would be like without her
So she started using a knife

Her parents were too busy
That they didn't notice her sadness

Her friends left her like she was nothing
And some knew she was cutting

"Life would be better without me" so she thought
All the happy memories, she forgot

Smile and bliss
Is all she showed

Until one night
When she wanted to stop the fight
And end her life
