It was 3 minutes till midnight and everyone started moving next to the one they would share their New Year's kiss with.
Sigh.
I wish Danielle was here. I was so stupid! Why did I break up with her!? Argh!! I really thought--no I knew she was the one for me, but she wasn't on the same page as me.
"One minute!!!" I heard a person yell. I glanced down at my watch and then at the TV and waited for these agonizing 60 seconds to pass. I really just wanted to go home but the lads insisted I stayed.
"TEN..." They started to chant.
"NINE..." Couples got close to one another.
"EIGHT..." I drank my remaining beer and needed another.
"SEVEN..." Almost there.
"SIX..."
"Say it Liam!" Niall encouraged me.
"FIVE..." Oh what the hell.
"FOUR..." I yelled.
"THREE..." The ball was almost there..
"TWO..." This year is going to suck.
"ONE!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!" Everyone yelled, fireworks went off, couples kissed, and noise makers did their job.
"Happy New Year." I quietly said.
"HAPPY NEW YEAR LIAM!" Zayn yelled and did the unthinkable.
