Another day at the hell-hole, also known as school. Not that I complain about having to go, because honestly its my only safehaven. I'm just very thankful that I'm not bullied at school, or that would make things in my life just complete shit. But anyway, today is not a very exciting day for me as it is for my classmates because its Spring Break tomorrow. Yup, while everyone else is having fun and doing whatever the hell they want, I'm stuck in my own personal Hell, population 1.
"Aren't you excited Emma, Spring Break, no worries, no cares, no-" Jace, my new friend, began before Julie, his sister, cut him off.
"Homework." she finished for him and sighed, "So you going to the One Direction concert for Spring Break?" Julie asked me with excitement clear in her eyes. I, on the other-hand, tensed a little at the mention of the world-wide-known band. I tried to relax before anyone noticed.
"Umm... no, I don't think I'll go." I answered and she furrowed her eyebrows.
"Why not?" Lizzie, Jace's girlfriend, jumped in the conversation.
"I don't have a ticket." I stated. It was half true.
"Don't be silly, here, I bought an extra one, well I actually won an extra one." Lizzie said handing me the extra ticket she won on a radio give-a-away. I smiled, but declined the 'gift.'
"I couldn't, really thank you, but I'm fine, I don't need the ticket, you keep it or give it to someone else." I said trying to give her back the ticket.
"Nope, all the other people at this school, who want to go to the concert, already have tickets. Plus you don't hate them, so you will enjoy it." Lizzie said shoving the ticket away from her. I sighed and put the ticket in my pocket saying 'Thank you' and giving her a hug. This can't be that bad right.
"Oh we'll also be going to the Meet and Greet." Julie said radiating pure happiness. I put on a fake smile and nodded. I stand corrected.
