Alana's pov
I woke up this Monday with Sophia running through my mind I couldn't stop thinking about her. I climed out of bed with a groan and looked at the clock oh no 8:50 I'm 45 minutes late for school. I'm suddenly very awake and completely forgot about Sophia.i ran into my bathroom and started brushing my teeth. When I heard a bang on the door. "What!" I replied to the loud noise. "Why are you making so much noise at this hour." I heard Jonah yell through the door. "Im late for school and so are you." I heard a chuckle come from the other side of the door. " what are you laughing at." "There's not school idiot it's summer how much did you drink last night?" "I didn't drink anything you dick ughhhhh how did I manage to forget summer break." I sighed and walked out of the bathroom once I finished brushing my teeth.
I'm already up I might as well just get dressed and do something. I thought as I walked over to my dresser and pulled out a pair of live blue ripped jeans, a black v neck t shirt and pulled on my red hightop converse. I walked out of my room while brushing my hair and made my way to my living room. I sat down and flipped through the channels on the tv as I felt my phone buzz in my pocket.

Sophia: u have to come over rn it's important
Alana: omg are u ok I'm on my way
Sophia: ya I'm fine it's good I promise hurry up

I got to Sophia's house and when I walked in I was greeted by a dog she didn't have before. "Rosy no no stop come here rosy rooossssyyyy ros-." That's when I heard a thump. I turned the corner to see and slightly disoriented Sophia on the ground beside her couch.
She looked up at me with a mock dramatic trauma face. I couldn't help but laugh it was so funny. "Yeah yeah I know I'm a klutz." She says as she climes up off the floor. "Do you met rosy." "Indeed I did. I thought your mom wouldn't let you get a dog." "Well she doesn't exactly know about the dog."
That's when the front door opened and Sophia's mom was met with a bouncy energetic golden retriever. "Oh hello the- Sophia who's dog is this and do not lie to me young lady or you will be in so much trouble!!" Her mom said as her face turned a hilarious shade of red.
Ruby jumped on Sophia's mom and suddenly her expression changed it changed to calm almost happy. "Awwww she's so cute." " so can we keep her?" "Yes... BUT you have to clean up after her and you are to make sure she goes out and gets fed I will supply you with food and bowls and a leash and harness. Wait how did you get her?" " Katie couldn't keep her anymore because she's moving." "Okay I'm gonna call her mom and get the information for her." She said and walked out of the room.
Me and Sophia turned to each other with excited faces. "Yaaaayyyyyy!!!" We both said loudly making rosy bark. "Wanna come with me to take her for a walk?" She asked with a huge smile on her face. "Sure let's do it." We harnessed up rosy and took her for a walk around the block. When we got back we decided to watch a movie. We both agreed on fault in our stars.
