Sophia's POV
Me and Alana were sitting with our friends Jonathan ,Aiden and Shawn. Jonathan Aiden and Alana have been the three best friends since kindergarten. Shawn and I have been best friends since we were two because our moms met a toddler daycare thing. Jonathan and Aiden are dating they're both gay. Shawn's aromantic and asexual so he doesn't ever feel like he's fifth wheeling now that it's two couples and one other person.
"Hey give me that!" Alana said as Jonathan grabbed her sketch book. Alana's really good at drawing realistic portraits from memory. "Ha catch me and you'll get it back." Jonathan said with a smirk. Alana started chasing Jonathan around the table. "C'mon baby just give her the book Aiden said taking Jonathans wrist and pulling Alana's sketch book out of his hand. Once he pecked Jonathan's lips he tossed Alana her sketch book.
I was in the living room with Shawn playing an intense game of crazy eights. "Ha I won. That means I get to choose movies for the next week." He said jumping up and teasing me I laughed. "I get to choose if I allow you into the house we watch movies in witch happens to be mine." His smile faded, mine grew. "Hey guys lets go to the arena it's community skate night it's free and a fun thing to do." Aiden yelled from the kitchen. "Good idea Aiden lets go." Jonathan said picking up Aiden bridal style. "Baby put me down." Aiden said between chuckles.
We were driving to the ice rink all five of us when a truck hit the back right of our car. Alana was sitting behind the passenger seat I was beside her Sean was beside me and Jonathan was driving.
I woke up to bright white fluorescent lights blinding me I couldn't see a thing. I then began to see a worried look on Jonathan's face. When my eyes fully adjusted I saw how much Jonathan had been crying. I was so confused so I looked around and Jonathan saw me moving and got really excited. Alana has stitches on her eyebrow and a cast on her leg. Jonathan had a cast on had arm and stitches on his forehead and leg. Aiden had stitches all over he right arm and a cast on his right leg got to hip along with stitches on his face. Shawn was nowhere to be seen. A rush of worry flowed through me. "Where's Shawn?" Alana's head popped up and she rushed over beside me and kissed my forehead. "Oh baby thank god your okay. I love you." "I love you too baby but where's Shawn." I asked again starting to cry. Aiden then stood up and said " Sophia... he's not doing well." I started to cry more. "What happened to him?" "The car flipped and he took the biggest impact he has internal bleeding a broken leg his are is shattered his left eye is fucked and he's in a coma." I sobbed as Aiden told me this I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I couldn't breath. I started having a panic attack and I knew it but I couldn't stop it. "Can I see him?" I asked. "Yeah here." Jonathan said as he handed me a pair of crutches. I then looked down to notice I had a broken foot. I don't know how I didn't get hurt more.
i hobbled into Shawn's hospital room to see him with a tube down his throat and a cast on his foot along with a neck brace. i couldn't control myself i fell to the floor and started sobbing. i then felt something hit me in the head and everything went black i coudln't move i could hear everyone talking and i felt people moving me but i couldn't move or open my eyes or talk. Its terrifying .
