Chapter 5: Morning accidents and embarrassment

When I opened my eyes, I found myself in my bed? What the hell happened to me? All I can remember is my memories from that night and then nothing. I must have blacked out or something. My memories have got me more interested than ever in trying to figure out who the mysterious person is I saw that night. Seen as though his eyes were like Kai it must mean he's a demon but who? Up until this weekend I didn't even know such creatures existed, and above all that I'm one myself.

It took me a while to finally move but when I did, I looked over at the bench to grab my phone only to then notice that there's a head laying on the side of my bed. Why is Kai sitting on a chair next to my bed? He can't be comfortable in that position.

I wiggled my way closer to his face so I could attempt to wake him so he doesn't wake up with a sore neck and back. I also really wanted to get changed and I don't want to risk him waking up and seeing me in only undies, that wouldn't end well at all.

"Hey Kai, Kai wake up its morning" I whispered close to his face as I gently nudged his shoulder trying to wake him. He didn't move at all but I didn't want to give him a heart attack so I just left him. I wonder what Kai is doing in my room anyways, what happened after I blacked out? Whatever happened I'm grateful that Kai cared enough to look after me.

I didn't want Kai to catch a cold so I pulled my blanket off the bed and chucked it on top of him to try and warm him up a bit. Although he's sleeping, I don't really want to take any chances so I grabbed my clothes and headed to the bathroom to get changed. once I was in the bathroom I got dressed and brushed my hair leaving it down because I didn't feel like tying it up into a ponytail.

I made my way back over into my room to put the dirty clothes I was wearing in a pile to clean later and grab my phone. My phone however was on the bedside table that Kai was sleeping next to and there is no way for me to go around him so my only choice is to lean over him to grab it.

I first attempted to just reach for my phone but because I'm so short it nearly ended with me falling on top of him. So, I decided to lean over the top of Kai to try and grab my phone. I lost a bit of my balance trying to reach for it but was able to stabilise myself on one leg. Suddenly there was a loud bang downstairs which scared me into falling on top of the sleeping boy.

Next thing I know I'm on the floor Kai over the top of me with his hands on both sides of my face making it impossible for me to move. I couldn't help but stare into his beautiful blue eyes. Even in a situation like this I can't help but get lost in those eyes.

"What were you doing, you know someone could have got seriously hurt" Kai said with a painful expression on his face. I looked into his eyes to see why he's making such painful expression and noticed that his head was bleeding. He must have banged it on the metal part of the bed when we fell.

"Kai get up you're bleeding, we need to get it covered straight away to stop the bleeding. We should also check to make sure you didn't get a concussion." I said in panic trying to make sure Kai wasn't too injured.

"Hey don't worry Cinda its fine, it doesn't even hurt" he said. I could tell he was lying though because when he tried to get up, he flinched from the pain. I could tell he was trying to make it unnoticeable, but failed miserably. I didn't even care at this point that the blood was all over me I just wanted to make sure he was alright.

"seriously Kai stop trying to act tough and let me help you, you did help me last night, didn't you? So, let me repay the favour" I replied quickly, I pushed him up slowly so he could sit down instead of leaning over the top of me. I jumped up quickly to try and find something to stop the bleeding. I grabbed my towel I used from the shower I had yesterday and pressed it against his head.
