when zion got the phone call, mandy knew what she had to do. kaysha was only 15, already struggling with her self-esteem because of her condition.

"kids, could you come in here?" mandy called from the living room.

the family piled in, curious as to why their mom had called them in.

"so, as we all know, zion has this really big opportunity of being in a boyband. your brother is going to be famous!" mandy smiled as zion blushed.

"being famous comes with a lot of judgemental people. kaysha, baby, i know how much you're already struggling with your self-image." kaysha nodded lightly before looking down at her hands.

"so i thought it'd be best for you zion to only make kekeli and elom public for now. just until kaysha boosts her self-confidence."

all the kids' faces dropped.

"mom, i don't think that's how we should handle it." kekeli said, wrapping an arm around kaysha.

"that's not fair. what if i want to greet her a happy birthday? what if i just want people to know my family? this isn't what we should do, momma." zion frowned.

"you can post her, just don't make it known that she's your sibling? it could ruin how people look at you and we don't want that." mandy said.

"mom, i'm sorry but what the fuck? you think this is gonna help kaysha's self-image? you-" kekeli got cut off.

"don't curse at me, young lady. this is what we're doing and that's final. now go to your rooms." mandy rose her voice.

little 12-year-old elom spoke up once he and zion sat down in their shared bedroom.

"z, what does what the fuck mean?"
