kaysha sat in her and kekeli's shared room, groaning loudly as the seventeeth netflix show she had attempted to start also turned out to be a bust.

what kind of expensive ass streaming service has this many boring ass shows?

she moved her finger along the touchpad of the laptop, cursor settling over the show titled atypical. kaysha sighed in relief after watching the trailer as the show seemed to be interesting.

clicking play on the first episode, the girl found herself a comfortable position in the bed and began her binge session.

suddenly, a knock rang on the door.

kaysha groaned loudly, as she had just gotten comfortable and sucked into the plot of the show.

she got up and swung the door open, rolling her eyes as she was met with her older brother on the other side.

"girl what the fuck are you wearing?" zion questioned.

kaysha glanced down at her men's xxl t-shirt and no pants combo. "pajamas?"

"now i know you ain't goin' around in a house full of horny ass men in just a motherfuckin' shirt!" zion exclaimed.

"bold of you to assume i'd ever let one of those horny ass men ever shoot their shot with me." kaysha crossed her arms over her chest.

"anyway," zion rolled his eyes.

"we partying tonight so either lock up and put in your headphones or change and come down. i really don't care which."

"drinks are in the kitchen. don't do anything stupid if you drink. peace." zion ended his speech with a 360 symbol before turning on his heels and going back to the living room to set up.

kaysha shut the door and went back to her laptop and snacks. she knew she'd probably watch a bunch of episodes and then go down at some point for a drink or two. then she'd come back up.

kaysha was bummed that kekeli wasn't there to party with her. she had gone out for the next few days on a trip with some old friends. kaysha would've been fine staying at the party longer if kekeli was there with her.

she was like kaysha's rock.

deciding to just go down if she felt like it, kaysha clicked play on the show and got sucked into the world of sam gardner.
