Chapter 10

"Hey (Y/N)?"

"yeah?"

"Well... this is going to sound crazy but... ever since I saw you and started talking to you... well I uhhh... I-I think that I like you. not just as a friend though. I mean I really really like like you. I know this is really rushed and stuff but my heart just doesn't feel the same around you." Tyler gushed.

I started getting butterflies in my stomach. Does he really feel this way? I'm super nervous. I looked down to hide my blushing face. "Really?" I said quickly.

"Yeah? I bet you don't feel the same way. It was stupid of me to say anything. I shouldn't have said anything. I'm sorry." He had an ashamed look on his face.

"No. Tyler don't think that please! You are the most talented and amazing person that I have ever laid eyes on. And if this isn't some cruel joke... I feel the same way about you." words just started making their way out of my mouth.

"Really!?" he asked sounding surprised. All of the sudden I felt a pair of lips on mine. I was shocked at first but after a second my eyes fluttered shut and I started to kiss back. The kissed was deep and passionate. It wasn't lustful or meaningless, it was just perfect. Boy were his lips soft too. After a few seconds we pulled apart and just sat there looking at each other breathing deeply.

'Wow.. that.. was.." I started out of breath.

"Amazing." Tyler finished.

I let out a little laugh and so did he.

"Sooo... Uhhh.. Will you be my girlfriend?" he asked awkwardly.

"Yes Tyler. I will be your girlfriend." I laughed at how we sounded like two eighth graders. We just kind of sat there for a minute enjoying the silence. Everything was really nice. The wind started to pick up suddenly. It was pretty harsh too.

I looked at Tyler who was closer to the middle of the tree and said, "Maybe we should climb down now." He nodded his head and started to make his way down, but it was too late for me. The wind had picked up ever more and all of the sudden I heard a snap, Tyler yelling my name, and then I hit the ground HARD. I was knocked unconscious.
