Xia helped her little miss go inside the carriage. Looking at the girls gaze towards her miss, Xia knows that they're looking down on her. It makes her really curious and worried, just what kind of performance did Jun Hua showed to them?

Jun Hua ignored those girls and sit comfortably in the carriage.

"Xia, ask them to gather news about Fan family."

Xia brows creased. "Fan family? Have they made any trouble for you?"

"It's the opposite. I found one of them highly interesting and I think she's a good friend," Jun Hua answered.

A good friend? Xia found that phrase weird coming from Jun Hua mouth, but didn't continue thinking about it any further. In the end she can only follow Jun Hua instruction.

"I'm home, grandfather..."

Jun Hua mouth twitched the moment she steps into the living room. Inside the big room is her grandfather who is busy copying a book with Madam Mu sitting comfortably in front of him. These two old people, just what happened during the time she left?

Jun Zhenxian looks at Jun Hua. "Hua'er please helps your grandfather."

"Madam Mu?"

Madam Mu smiled gently, yet her eyes are still burning with rage. "Your grandfather mouth is still spouting so much nonsense. Copying a book about scholar conduct should help him greatly."

Jun Hua nodded. "Then you should continue with your lesson, Grandpa. I will change my clothes first."

Jun Zhenxian stared at his granddaughter helplessly. This little rascal! Which side are you on? Your grandfather or Madam Mu?

After Jun Hua left, Madam Mu stared at Jun Zhenxian. "There are still over 60 pages, if you don't want to continue this tomorrow, you better finished quickly."

Jun Zhenxian wanted to cry. I'm already an old person, yet you're still being so harsh on me? In the end Jun Zhenxian is forced to continue writing as Jun Hua continues her lesson.

"Madam Mu is really strict, I'm already death tired," Jun Hua sits in her room after the training finished. The training didn't last long, but it drained most of her energy.

"Xia, have you finished?"

"Yes, they have collected the information. Fan family head is a marquis and this family also completely relied on their achievement in the battlefield. He has two children, one daughter and one son. His daughter is 15 this year but still in the same class with you."

After receiving the information, Xia knows that Jun Hua have met the daughter and find her interesting. According to the information, Fan Lanying is a tomboy girl that loves to sneak out to train with her brother. Her brother is 3 years older and recently dispatched to the front line which makes Fan Lanying a bit lonely.

Jun Hua nodded at the information Xia passed to her. Now she has come to understand how a noble girl such as Fan Lanying could have such a straightforward character. A soldier normally has straightforward character, like her grandfather if she excludes his shamelessness. With that kind of living environment, it's expected that she grows with that kind of character too.

Xia watched Jun Hua in confusion. Why has her Miss fall into deep contemplation?

"Has the Jun family and Fan family has grudge?"

Xia shakes her head. "There aren't. The military post for Fan family and Jun family is far apart which makes it hard to have any interaction."

"Their location?"

"West of Ming Kingdom."

"West?" Jun Hua is stunned. If it's West, isn't it near the Lan family?

As if reading her Miss mind, Xia added. "They have terrible relation with Lan family and they often compete on who could win more battle on the border."

Jun Hua nodded in understanding. This new friends of her is truly interesting. Maybe tomorrow she will meet her again.

"Oh right, what is tomorrow's lesson?"

"It's painting Miss."

Jun Hua hurriedly stands up and go towards the living room where Madam Mu still waiting for her grandfather to finish his writing.

"What is it Hua'er? Have you changed your mind?" Jun Zhenxian raised his head hopefully.

Jun Hua shakes her head. "It's not that. I want to ask Madam Mu about the level of painting a normal 14 years old girl has."

Madam Mu looks towards Jun Hua. She nodded before asking her servants to take her drawing tools. She picks up a brush and stared to draw.

"Normally a 14 years old girl cannot draw very well unless they have been trained since young. Some nobles can draw a realistic view and the others only barely pass. You see my drawing, there are still many errors here which is similar to what a normal 14 years old girl do."

Jun Hua stared at the canvas before nodding. "Thank you very much Madam Mu."

"How about yours? Try to draw some simple object."

Madam Mu prepared a new canvas and Jun Hua thinks for a while before starting to draw. She chooses one of the views she has once seen and soon a realistic view of a misty mountain and valley come into view.

"My, you're a talented painter."

Although Jun Hua painting is not the best painting Madam Mu has seen, it is really good. Compared with normal 14 years old girls, she has won by a mile.

"Thank you Madam Mu."

"If you paint like this tomorrow, you will likely get into the top. But my guess is you won't."

Jun Hua smiled and didn't answer. She comes to know her talent in painting when she draws map for making strategy. Since then, she would practice from time to time which enhance her skill. Jun Hua stared at her painting and asks Xia to keep it safe. After that she bid farewell to Madam Mu and her struggling grandfather.
