Chapter 8 - Millicent

Finally another update! I'm lazy to write honestly and school is tiring, so I'll try my best to publish two chapters today. ✌😊

Third person's POV

"I found it!" Joy shouted and hopped down from the ladder.

Finally after several decades, who knows? They found the book they are looking for.

Brianna took the spell book and scanned the pages until the given potion is shown.

Breaking Potion: For Princes/Princesses that are poisoned!

Ingredients
- 1 silver leaf (can be found in the West part of Enchanted Forest)
- 2 drops of wild unicorn's blood (can be found in the Hopping Field)
- 4 slices of saphire apple (can be found in the Apple Farm; located at East Ivory)
- a pinch of crystal powder (can be found in the City of Gems; located at Moon Valley)
-and a tear from his/her true love

The rest are the instructions which is easy to follow.

"Better get going. The more we stay here, the time we waste will increase." LingLing announced.

They rushed through the field where all their dragons are resting. Brianna softly pats her dragon's head and whispered something.

Immediately, sparkling smoke starts to surround Brianna's whole body and in a snap her uniform turned into a regal armor.

The rest also changed into armors and rode each dragon's back.

Arriving at their first destination which is the Enchanted Forest. Brianna went down first, "Prepare your wands people. Some creatures here are deadly."

Leading the way, the group soon follows. Astoria lights a match so that they can see clearly. So dark.

They had passed the Briar's house and explored deeper. No idea of where and how to get it, Rose finally asked.

"Do you guys know where the silver leaf is?"

"As said at the book, it is located at the west part of the forest. The map also indicates the same place and..." Brianna checked the map.

She was about to continue, but unfortunately the princess got interrupted when someone snatched her feet.

"Ahhhhhhh!"

Brianna's POV

I squealed in shock! I was caught upside down... with a vine and I can see the guys gawking at me.

They finally composed their self. Getting back to reality.

Rose and the others grabbed their wands.
Checking for a possible enemy they didn't notice there was another one, aiming next to Travis which is Joy.

"Joy watch out!"

She glanced at her side, but it was to late when even herself got trapped.

"Pumpkin magic!" Rose said making pumpkin walls to guard the group.

Rhian and the guys place themselves into action.

"Tower magic!"
"Gold magic!"
"Fan magic!" (A/N: Correct me if I were wrong.)

"Armph!" I can't breath! I am almost swallowing the leaves since it was already on my mouth.

I can see Rhian battling for the first time. And I had to admit I'm falling for him.

What I was surprised of is that he ran towards me and cut the vines that are strangling me with his dagger.

He reached his arms and I accepted that. You can now say we're hugging.

"Thank you." I whispered.

Rhian smiled and we slowly let go of each other.

I know to myself that the vines have strong magic in them so I have to find the person behind it. My wand's power won't be able to stop them.

"Cover me." I said to Rhian. He did what I ordered.

I snatched his dagger from his pocket and used it cut the vines that are battling with me.

They are really thick and hard to slice compared to ordinary ones.

Then I unexpectedly saw it. I ran at my fastest speed and chased the enemy...

Until we are inside the wide-opened area. "Show yourself!" I demanded.

The cloaked figure didn't mind replying. "I said show yourself! Why would you like to kill us?!"

The person I was talking to turns around but still, all I can see is a shadowed face.

I nervously brought out both of my weapons.

I was surprised when the villain finally revealed herself. It was a girl.

She had the softest face I had ever seen. And those eyes wear the same expression I have. Scared and nervous. Both don't know what can happen.

"I-I'm sorry. Look please understand. I had no intentions on you."

"I wanted to help but unfortunately I was just a simple civilian. I don't own any powers." She explained.

My eyes turned soft as well as my expression. I walked towards her.

"Next time you could just have run. I thought you were the mastermind behind all of these." I said. "Why are you here? And why are those vines attacking us?"

"One thing is for sure stranger. They don't know you."

Raising my eyebrows, I asked. "Well thats strange. I live here and I mostly roam the forest, watching if danger is about to come of course."

"Then somebody must have placed a spell on them. If you are exploring almost half of the Enchated Forest. Surely they most recognize you.. with your friends."

I nodded. I agree with her. Somebody must have really put it in purpose.

"Whats your name by the way?" I said, changing the topic.

"Millicent."

"And you are?" She continued offering a hand shake.

"Brianna. Brianna Briar." I introduced.

We both smiled. And before I can forget, I gladly accepted her hand.

"Can I ask something?" Millicent said. I nodded as a yes.

"Can we both be friends?"

"Of course I would love to." I grinned at the thought that she may also help us.

I did not notice the time. Its getting darker by any minute.

And I just also realized that I am now lost.
