It's already past 9pm and Ryu is still lost in his studies. This is just how he usually is.. Always absorbed with theoretical inquisition having an imperishable thirst for knowledge.
Part 2, Scene 1: Tokyo library, Chemistry section. Time: 9:45pm.
Male Librarian: hey Ryu time to pack up. Closing time in 15 minutes.
Ryu: ok, thanks for letting me know Jin.
Jin: no prob! (waves from behind)
SFX: *text message alert tone*
Text message content: "are you guys home yet? Make sure to buy Mai dinner ok?"
Ryu: (thinks to himself: seriously?! This is so bothersome. Thanks to this message now I have to feel guilty for intentionally neglecting to pick her up!)
Ryu's Imagination: girl alone in the airport sleeping on a prepped newspaper on the floor of the waiting area..
(GUILT~)
Ryu: ok-OK!! I'll go to the airport to pick her up! (Runs out the door)
Ryu went to the airport by train, arrived there by 11pm and on the waiting area he found a person covered in blankets lying on the ground.
Part 2, Scene 2:
Ryu: (taps the person's shoulder) excuse me, are you Mai?
Person: uh-uh.. *nods*
*Loud Grumble*
Ryu: are you hungry?
Person: uh-uh.. (stands up toward Ryu but her head still facing the ground) *nods*
Ryu: ok let's buy you some food.
SFX: sound of airport carts crashing
Aaaaaaahhhhhhh!!! *shouts*
A guard from behind them suddenly shouts.
Guard: AUNTIE!! I thought I told you to stop loitering in the airport area?!!
The person: (faces Ryu whom has now revealed that she's actually an old lady, suddenly touches Ryu's left cheek, then licks his forehead, smiles maniacally, and then dashes toward the airport exit)
Ryu: (shocked with disgust) I just got violated..
Girl: Yuu-chan? (Taps Ryu from behind)
A girl from behind started calling a nickname that seemed very familiar to Ryu.
Ryu: (utterly surprised and speechless) Mai?
Girl: (smiles naturally) *nods*
Ryu: uh.. Ahh.. Ugh.. (Damn! why am I suddenly unable to speak properly? She's pretty--No, she's just Ok--she's not THAT pretty.. Maybe it's just from the shock from being violated by an old lady.. Yeah that's right!)
Mai: you ok? Seems that the auntie planted one on you?
Ryu: shut up!
Mai: kidding!! (Smiles) in any case are you ok? I was actually worried that something might have happened since it took you a while to get here.
Ryu: nothing happened. I just had a lot of things to do.
Mai: I see. At least you still showed *smiles*
Ryu: yeah sure! So where will you be staying?
Mai: your place.
Ryu: *nods* (realization) huh?! What did you just say?
Mai: I'm stuck at your place while I'm still having our old house renovated. Auntie said so in her email. (Shows cellphone with Ryu's mom's email on the screen)
Ryu: HAAAAAH?!!!! (Shocked)
