Chapter 5 - Homura

Kusanagi's P.O.V.

Damn you Yata! How dare you hit my bar?! He has no idea how much this bar means to me! He was lucky Diane was still here because I would have crush his skull! Just wait till you get back here Yata, I said in my mind while a dark aura started coming from me.

I examine the poor table Yata likely hit because of jealosy. I sighed in relief, good thing the impact was not strong enough to damage my bar. Did he really like her that much?

I smiled at the scenery he made, dragging her out of anyone's reach. Hmm, that boy has really grown so much. I went back to polishing my wine glasses when Tatara enters with a big smile on his face.

Totsuka's P.O.V.

We followed them outside, I shouted goodbye and goodluck to both of them while the other guys were teasing the two lovebirds but Yata doesn't seem to care about what they were saying.

He didn't even stutter or blush, he must have really like her so much that he didn't pay attention to anyone or anything, to think he even hit Kusanagi's precious bar!

I hope he's prepared for his punishment, I sweatdrop thinking about the poor skater boy but I went back inside with a huge smile on my face. "Mission completed" I said dramatically, I bet those two will get along just fine. Ah, young love.

"You should really let them figure it out on their own, if you keep doing that you might piss Yata off." Izumo warns me. Hehe, to think he actually hit Kusanagi's table out of anger.

I guess guys who are in love get mad easily, but I just can't help myself. Such a shame I coudn't record Yata's jealousy scene, it was such a great memory, just imagine the look on his face when he sees it. I thought with a giddy smile.

"Don't worry, I'm sure he won't kill me." I comforted him. Hmm, I wonder what kind of date should be perfect for them next.

"Suit yourself"he said in defeat while polishing his wine glasses. The others had already started to go home until it was only me and Izumo so we started to clean up until we heard the King walking down the stairs, which is very unusual since he sleeps like a log. I thought he might be having nightmares again.

"Is anything wrong King?" I asked him, hoping nothings wrong.

"Thirsty" he simply said. I heard Izumo sighed and reluctantly gave Mikoto his favorite drink while I laugh quietly, he'll never change.

"Hey King, what do you think about Diane?" I cheerfully asked.

"Troublesome" he answered, earning a frown from Izumo. Hmm, I wonder why would she be troublesome for him?

"Is there something wrong with her?" I asked curiously.

Mikoto's P.O.V.

Damn it, that girl is so troublesome. I can't sleep, Anna said her red was almost as pretty as mine so she's nearly as powerful as I am just like a queen but they said that a king could feel a connection or attraction or whatever the f*ck they call it with their queen.

I didn't feel anything with her so she's not my queen but why the hell did her eyes turned red, only me and my clan members could do that. Anna said her power can only nullify other people's abilities and her eyes turning red isn't a part of it so why?.

*Sigh*. I'm getting tired of thinking, I should get a drink downstairs.

Anna's P.O.V.

I don't get it, why is her red like that? Her aura is very pretty but it's not as strong as the other queens and I don't see any connection between her and Mikoto.

Ever since she was inside the bar, I can't help but feel a bit anxious. She looks like a very nice person I can tell she has no intentions on hurting any of us, specially Misaki. It's pretty obvious they really have a crush on each other so she's definitely not our queen but I should still keep an eye on her.

Mikoto said he saw her eyes turned red which is not part of her ability. I tried reading her mind and knowing her past but something seems off, I think I can't trust my ability on her.

I stood up from my bed and grabbed a map, I let my marbles swirl slowly but I couldn't track her, *sigh* she's a strain after all. I was going to go back to bed when I heard my door opening and saw Mikoto.

"Mikoto"

"What are you doing, Anna?"

"Diane, she's hiding something" I said looking down at my marbles, he grunted in response.

"You should go to bed" he said and tucked me to bed, soon afterwards I started to drift away to the land of dreams.

Chitose's P.O.V.

"Damn it! What the f*cking hell was wrong with Yata?! I was only going to walk Diane to her dorm! It's not like  I'll do anything to her." I complained when I was walking back to my appartment with Dewa.

"I told you she's out of your league" he answered boringly.

"She's not even his girlfriend!" I retorted back.

He sighed,"Not yet" was all he said. Damn. Can't believe Yata's going to get a girlfriend. Whatever I'll just look for another girl cause I don't want to get burned by Yata.

??? P.O.V.

Hmm, that was a bit unexpected I thought before I went to a desk and grabbed a glass of some kind of liquid.

"What do you guys think?" I ask the people behind me who were watching from the very beggining of the little movie showing all the Homura members.

"Their not as bad as the rumours say" one commented.

"The Red King is simply too expressionless"

"I think he doesn't deserve a woman like the Queen"

"Agreed"

*Sigh*, I knew they would say that, honestly I can't disagree with them. I can't understand why the Dresden Slates choose that guy to be the Red King for the Queen? They seriously have nothing in common.

"........."

"Hey, they left for quite a while shouldn't she be back by now" I asked worriedly.

"No, they haven't but you know she can handle herself" one of them reassured me. I know that but every moment that someone special to me is out of my sight I can't help but feel uneasy.

Diane's P.O.V.

"Then will you stay with me?"he asks with hope in his voice. I swear I felt my heart stopped for a second, h-he just c-confess-

"DIANE!!!!!"
