Annabella pov
I was with Bella one day watching over her. It was just the two of us as the others were researching.
" Anna?" I looked at Bella.
" What is it child?"
" Do you think I can do this?" I sighed and sat next to her.
" Do what dear one?"
" This. Be a mother. A vampire." I smiled and spoke.
" Yes I do. But if you do survive it won't be as human."
" I know. I've come to terms with that." I sighed and brushed some hair from her face.
" It's hard on us Bella. But we all love you and that's what makes it harder." She looked away then looked at me.
" Was it hard for you? To become a vampire?" I sighed.
" Yes. Because I was a wolf it was even harder for me to come to terms with it. But Carlisle found me. And helped me through everything. He may not admit it but it's largely because of him that I am who I am." She smiled weakly.
" You love each other."
" Yes. We do. That doesn't mean we don't have our fights but we do love each other. Very very much."
" How did you meet?" I sighed and smiled wryly.
" That is a very long story. One I hope to tell you when you are a newborn." She laughed weakly.
" You're so kind. And good." I smiled.
" It's part of being a mother. And with five teenagers in the house I have to be good at my job." She smiled and nodded.

After a bit the others came in. I sat on the arm of a chair and Rose was standing behind me. The boys watched football for a bit.
" Are you cold?" Edward asked Bella. She nodded. Jacob spoke.
" I got it." He went over and warmed her up. The two talked for a bit. Just then Bella sat up. Edward got the bucket for her to throw up in but nothing came up. I spoke.
" We need to find a way to get some food into her system."
" If only I could see the fetus......"
" Baby." Rose corrected Alice. Alice continued.
" Maybe I could figure out what it wants." Jacob looked at Edward.
"Think you might be right. Jacob just had an idea."
"It wasn't an idea. It was a snide comment."
" What were you thinking?"
" That it's probably just looking for someone to sink its teeth into." Bella spoke.
" He's thirsty." Emmett spoke.
" I know the feeling."
" If it's craving, it's not gonna want animal blood."
" I have some O negative set aside for Bella." Carlisle said and left to get some. Alice took Jasper away. Rose nodded at Emmett and he went away. Carlisle came with a blood bag and was pouring it into a glass.
" Wait. Wait. Wait. You're gonna make her drink that?" Jacob asked.
" It's the fastest way to test the theory." Carlisle said.
" Only if you're comfortable." Edward said. Bella spoke.
" I'll try anything." Jacob got away from Bella. Edward got up and put the blood into a styrofoam cup with a straw.
" This might make it a little easier to take." Bella sat up and drank a little. Bella spoke.
" Tastes good." Carlisle went over and checked Bella's heart rate. He smiled.
" Your pulse is already getting stronger."
" It's working." I said. Rose put both her hands on my arms. From that day on we gave Bella blood to help her.

After a bit we realized we were running low on blood. Carlisle got Jacob to come to talk to Carlisle and I.
"So that's the last of it?" Jacob asked.
" Bella could deliver as early as tomorrow. If she's going to have any chance at all, she'll need more blood." I looked at Carlisle.
" And you need to feed. You have to be at your strongest for her. We need to go tonight." I said the last sentence looking at Jacob.
" Carlisle, you're the enemy now. Sam won't hesitate. You will be slaughtered."
" Emmett will come with us." I said.
" That won't be enough."
" We have no choice, Jacob. If there's anything we can do to save her, we have to try." Carlisle said.
" You'd risk your lives for her?"
" Of course we would. Bella's a part of our family now." I said.
" Yeah. I can see that. This really is a family. As strong as the one I was born into. I know what I have to do."

Carlisle, Emmett, and I got ready to leave while Jacob went to distract the wolves. We rushed out. I ended up falling down. Emmett ran over and pushed the wolves away while Carlisle got me. We jumped to the other side and were safe.

We hunted for a bit before Carlisle's phone rang. Bella was in labor. Carlisle talked Alice through everything. We rushed back to the house as quickly as we could.

Our family was fighting the wolves. We helped them fight. Seth and Leah fought in wolf form. We ended up backed up to the stairs that led into the house. Just then Jacob came out standing in front of Sam.
" Stop! It's over! If you kill her you, kill me." Jacob was thrown in the air and then changed. Edward explained what was going on.
" Jacob imprinted. They can't hurt her. Whoever a wolf imprints on can't be harmed. It's their most absolute law." I sighed with relief and then sank against Carlisle's chest. He kissed my head.

Alice and Rose worked to clean up Bella.

One night I was in my room resting when Carlisle came in. We had been curt with each other for a while. He came over.
" Anna. I'm sorry." I nodded my head. He sat down and drew me close. I sighed and spoke.
" What you said hurt Carlisle. I need you to know that."
" I know. I knew the minute the words left my mouth how much I had hurt you. I'm sorry." I sighed and looked at him. Then I smiled and put a hand on his cheek.
" I love you. Now and forever." He smiled and kissed me gently.
" And I love you. Now and forever." We kissed again then Carlisle sighed.
" Our children were quite upset." I chuckled.
" Of course they were. They've never heard us be cross with each other." Carlisle chuckled and kissed my forhead.
" I don't deserve someone as amazing as you."
" Yes you do Carlisle. More then you know you deserve it."

After three days Bella woke up. Edward took her to hunt while we waited for them to return. I was excited to see her at last. Jacob went out first to see Bella then they came in.
" Welcome to the family." I said to Bella. Alice spoke to her.
"You look amazing Bella."
" Someone's been waiting to meet you." Carlisle said. Rose turned with Renesmee in her arms. Renesmee showed Bella her memories.
" What was that?" Edward explained to Bella.
" She showed you the first memory she has of you."
" Showed me? How?"
" How do I hear thoughts? How does Alice see the future? She's gifted."
" I've only been out for three days?" Bella asked.
" Her growth rate is unprecedented." Jacob walked up and tried to get Renesmee back.
" All right. That's enough experimenting for one day."
" Jacob. She's doing great."
" Yeah. Let's not push it though."
" What's your problem?" Bella asked.
" Oh. Do tell her Jacob." Rose said. Emmett smirked.
" This should be good." Edward spoke.
" Hold on a second." He took Renesmee from Bella's arms.
" Look, it's a wolf thing."
" What's a wolf thing?" Rose smirked then walked to take Renesmee. Rose walked over to me as Jacob spoke.
" Um......You know we have no control over it. But you can't choose who it happens with. And it doesn't mean what you think, Bella. I promise."
" Take Renesmee out of the room." I gently pushed Rose out of the room. Edward walked up and put a hand on Bella's shoulder.
"Edward don't touch me right now. I don't want to hurt you." Edward let Bella go.
" Oh." Jacob said. Bella grabbed Jacob and they went outside.

She threw him to the ground. We all followed outside.
" You imprinted on my daughter?!"
" It wasn't my choice!"
" She's a baby!"
" It's not like that. You think Edward would let me live if it was?"
" I'm still debating it."
" I've held her once! One time, Jacob! And already you think you have some moronic wolfy claim on her? She's mine!" Bella tossed Jacob back down. Just then Seth and Leah came up.
" It's fine Leah." Jacob said. Bella spoke.
" You're gonna stay away from her."
" You know I can't do that." Bella tossed him into a tree.
" Stop her Edward." I said.
" He said it's fine. She's amazing, right?"
" Do you remember how much you wanted to be around me 3 days ago? That's gone now, right?"
" Long gone."
"Becuase it was her. From the beginning it was Nessie who wanted me there."
"Nessie? You nicknamed my daughter after the Loch Ness monster?!" Seth got in front and was tossed aside by Bella. She froze and calmed down.
" Seth, are you okay?" I held Carlisle's arm as he stepped up.
" Seth, I'm sorry." Seth got up and brushed it off.
"He'll be alright." Jacob stepped up slowly to Bella.
" Bella, you know me better than anyone. All I want is for Ness.....Renesmee to be safe. Happy. Look, nothing ever made sense before. You. Me. Any of it. And now I understand why. This was the reason." She sighed and calmed down. I smiled and squeezed Carlisle's arm.

That night the rest of us went out hunting. We returned laughing.

When we got in Ailin and Valerie came running up. Valerie went straight for me. I smiled and picked her up. Alice went over to Bella.
" Happy birthday."
" I stopped aging three days ago."
"We'll were celebrating anyway. So suck it up." I smiled. Alice handed Bella a key. Then Alice took Edward and Bella to the cabin we had prepared for them. I chuckled when they left. Ailin had fallen asleep on Emmett and Valerie was falling asleep on Jasper.
