There was no one before you
None will come after you
So I'll begin with you....I've touched imposters and called them wife, girlfriend, and prospect.
Portions of my soul rented to those who have never reached me where I withered
I did not cheat them however, I wanted so much to manufacture a refuge from Loneliness
But they All eventually give in to Ordinary.Wired to be enamored by the remarkable,
I found the love I offered to be lacking
Especially when I realized that the Women I've loved...couldn't live up to my curiosities
Then you changed everything....You who would eventually be Ordained
You who smiled with tiny teeth
You who Sung with a voice saved for Conquest
You who were young and I never wanted in that way
You who grew into the Vision that I want everyday
You who had a premature crush on me
You who when Matured, crushed meIn and out of my life like Cameos in a sitcom
Too serious to chalk up to coincidence
Too far fetched to make you my Forever
Still, I love like painters in Vienna do
And all the "in between" women are sketches of futile inspiration
Unable to depict my true Love.....YouYou who I saw get Ordained
You who are engaged and circling the alter
You who couldn't choose me over...never mind
You who can write with a similar pen
You who prey on and pray on
You who selected me for predation and meditation
For a limited time only.....
