No clue or sign
To what in the world is on your mind
It seems I ask you all the time
And you say "everything's fine"
Feed me a line
I can chew but can't swallow
I still want to know
Because I can't just let it go
You oughta tell me more Tawan
Before I look up and you'll be gone
And I'll have to fill the blanks in myself
I need your help, yes I need your help
I must not be your kind but that doesn't hurt
See girl I don't mind if you never flirt
Rejection isn't new to me
But it works more beautifully
Wouldn't you agree
When it's done up front?
That's all I want....
You oughta fill me in Tawan
Before I look up and you'll be gone
Then I'll have to fill the blanks in myself
I need your help, ooh I need your help
I'm never gonna see you play
I'm never gonna smell your breath
Before you go away
Shouldn't those memories be left?
You keep your secrets deep in your soul
Yet they're always on the tip of my tongue
Being alone takes it's toll
So lean on me when you're not strong
Your Apache hair and your chiseled smile
Your tiger stair, with eyes so wild
Never noticed up 'til now
How you raise one eyebrow
Then put it back down when you tell a joke
I've been chasing the real you
Every since the first day we spoke
You oughta tell me more Tawan
Cuz pretty birds don't stay caged too long
And I'm not qualified to narrate you
Don't be so terrified that I might relate to you
When you confide...it's really great to do
So trust me like I trust you
You oughta fill me in Tawan
Let me be your friend Tawan
Catch me up to speed Tawan
When fresh ears are what you need Tawan
You oughta tell me more Tawan
What else are friends for Tawan?
