He changed my life

~Chapter 3~

I woke up Saturday morning and checked my phone. I got a text from Chris.

C: So are we still going to the beach today

A: ya what time

C: is 11:30 okay

A: ya see you there

Chris and I hang out everyday after school to do our project. We have became good friends.

I put on my white bikini with my white cover up. I put my hair up into a messy bun. I did whatever I had to do to get ready and then I put on my sandals. I grabbed my phone and put my sunglasses on. I drove to the beach and looked around for Chris.

I was walking and I wasn't paying attention to where I was walking and is bumped into someone.

"I am so sorry" I said, I looked at who it was. It was a boy about my height with blonde hair. "I'm sorry" he says. I stared at him he was cute. "I didn't see w-where I was going" I stuttered. "I'm Cory" he says and stuck his hand to shake my hand. I stick my hand out and shake his hand. "I'm Alex nice to meet you" I said. "You too" Cory says.

I hear my named being called from behind me. I look and see who it is. Chris is coming towards me.

"I got to go and I'm sorry I bumped into you" I said, "I'm glad you did" he smiles at me, I smile back. He looked really familiar, and I know I've seen him before but I just don't know where.

I turn around and walk towards Chris. "Who was that" Chris asks, "oh I bumped into him on accident" I said. "oh well let's go get some samples of the water" he says.

We walk over and get our samples. that lasts for about 10 minutes. "let's go swimming" Chris says, "sure" I said.

We pick a spot to put our stuff. I take my cover up off and we go into the water. It's cold but I don't mind. Chris and I mess around in the water and splash each other.

Chris goes under water and plus my down under the water to. go back above water and start laughing. Chris comes up and I splash him. We both laugh now.

I'm getting kind of cold so I start walking out. I feel arms being wrapped around me from behind "where do you think your going" Chris says. He picks me up and spins me around. I laugh and then he throws me down into the water.

After about a half hour in the water we decided to get some lunch. we went to a little shack by the beach. We ordered our food then after we went to get all our stuff that was on the beach.

"Do you want to go do something else, if you want to though" Chris says, "ya what should we do" I ask, "do you know how to ride a penny board" he asks.

"Ya I have a one actually and I ride around in an old alleyway sometimes" I said, "wait you ride in an old alleyway, why" Chris asks, "I don't like when people watch me" I said.

"Well your going to get over that and we're going to go ride around town and I don't care if you don't want to you will" Chris demands. I sigh "fine".

"Okay then meet me back at that little pet shop in town so we can change out of our wet clothes and get our boards, you know where that is right" Chris asks, "ya" I said, "great, see you later" Chris says and walks to his car and I walk to mine.

I get home and change out of my bathing suit and put on my grey crop top that says 'young forever' on it, and my white jean shorts, and my grey vans. I blow dry my hair and straiten it. I grab my phone and put it in my back pocket. I also grab my Penni board that was leaning up against my wall.

I rode my Penni board down town because it wasn't that far away. when I got to the pet shop I looked around for Chris. I sat on a bench just out side of the pet shop and waited.

I look to my right and see Chris coming on the side walk on his Penni board. I stand back up and he stops right in front of me.

"Ready?" he asks "yep" I said. I got on my Penni board and we rode drown the street. We found a street that no one really goes on and we just rode around on it.

"Sit down on the Penni board and we'll go down the hill" Chris says, "okay" I sit on my board and look at him. he holds his hand put for me to hold on to it, I take his hand and we go down the hill.

I scream and laugh at the same time. we reach the bottom of the hill and we finally stop. "That was fun" I said, "ya it was" Chris says. "Let's go down and see those little shops I've never really been in them" I said, "okay" Chris says.

We ride down and go to every shop.

We played around in some of the shops and the workers were giving us dirty looks. We didn't care though, we just laughed.

After about an hour of shopping I got a bracelet, some sunglasses, and a flower crown that Chris begged me to get because he said I looked good in it. I wore it and it made him happy. After, we went and got slushies from the gas station. I got blue and Chris got red. We sat on a curb and drank our slushies.

"I had a great time today, thank you" I said, "me to and I hope that we can do this again" Chris says, "ya, i'd like that" I said. We finished our slushies then we finally went home.

When I got home I brought my board with me inside. It was 4 o'clock when I checked the time. I turned my music on and turned the volume up.

My step sister came in and said "dinner will be ready in 10 minutes and will you turn that music down". I ignored her and stared at the ceiling.

"Are you okay" Lexi asks, "I don't know" I said while smiling. "Did you meet a boy" she asked, "ya and I need your help with something" I said, "what?" she asked.

Lexi comes and sits down on my bed next to me. "Okay so I met this boy like a week ago and we have became really good friends and he's asking me out on dates but not saying there dates but I know they are, and I think I'm starting to like him but I'm not sure" I explain.

"Boys are confusing, but you have to look deep down inside and see if you really like this boy" she says, "thanks and how did you learn this" I ask, "mostly my friends" she says. "Well thanks" I said. I give her a hug and she hugs back.

We walk down for dinner and sit at the table. We were having steak for dinner.

When I finished I walked back into my room.

I started thinking about the boy I ran into earlier. I know I've seen him before and he reminds me so much of some one. I wish I knew. I started looking through my pictures on my phone.

I came across my best friend Kian. that's who Cory looks like. Cory is Kian's brother. I can't believe that I didn't recognize him. What I'm wondering is why was Cory in California when he lives in Connecticut.

If Cory's in California then Kian is probably in California too.
