I sat on a wooden bench inside the building that I assumed was the doctors office while Daniel, Leila, and Dr. Weeders discussed what was wrong with me. I have to confess I'm a little surprised that people don't fall out of the sky here I mean everything and everyone here is crazy enough to. Leila turned towards me as the were talking, looking surprised and scared. My expressionless face turned to worry. I couldn't here what they were saying, they were talking that quietly. I looked out one of the many large windows that covered the walls and took in the Sanctuary. With nothing better to do I pulled out the book Leila had given me and began reading.

"JADE!"

"Huh, what?" I asked looking up to see all three of them staring at me.

"Jade," Leila said, more calmly than before, "Dr. Weeders said there's nothing wrong with you, you're just a little on the crazy side."

"Yeah," Leila said, looking at me in confusion, "Why?"

"Never mind, I forgot I have no idea how things work around here."

"What do you mean?" Daniel asked.

"Well, back where I come from, if a girl and a boy lived together, it usually meant they were dating." I stated plainly.

"Oh, we aren't dating." Leila said quickly.

"Okay, I don't really care anyway, if you were, that is."

"Alright then," Daniel said, "Let's go home."
