Chapter 4

Story;

I followed Daniel and Leila out the door and waved Dr. Weeders a 'goodbye'. We walked down paths as I took in the scenery. There were long paths leading down, either direction from me, surrounded by shops, and shoppers, everywhere. At the end of one of the paths there was a cliff, with a sign saying 'PIXIEWOOD' it sort of reminded me of the 'Hollywood sign' in California. We kept walking and I realized we were walking out of the city.

"Hey, um." I said, "Why are we walking out of the city?"

"Oh, we live in the Wilds." Daniel stated, saying Wilds like it was a city, maybe it was.

"Daniel," Leila said quickly, "Jade has no idea what the Wilds are!"

"You know, I could have said that for myself right?" I asked, slightly annoyed. They were treating me like the dumbest thing on Earth, then again, I kind of was here, I knew absolutely nothing about this place!

"Jade," Leila started, ignoring my last comment, "The Wilds are anywhere there is nothing."

"Excuse me?" I asked.

"What she's trying to say is that wherever there and no towns, or dungeons, or anything of that sort, is the Wilds." Daniel cleared up.

"Wait," I paused, "Did you say dungeons!?"

"Yes..."

"HEY GUYS!" Daniel was interrupted by someone behind us. I turned around and saw a pixie flying towards us, yeah this was just becoming a normal occurrence now.

"Oh, hey Arianna!" Leila called out.

"Who?" I whispered towards her.

"Oh, Jade," Leila stated as Arianna reached us, "This is Arianna SparkleFairy, Arianna, Jade BubbleJumper."

"Hi, nice to meet you." She said, cheerfully, reaching out a hand to greet me.

"Hi." I greeted, returning her handshake.

"Oh, guys, there's a festival at Wugachug this afternoon, are you three going?"

"What's Wugachug?" I asked, without even thinking. I quickly threw a hand to my mouth to cover it up. Arianna stared at me with disbelief in her eyes.

"Where in Sacred Grove did you get this girl!" She blurted out.

"Funny story actually," Daniel started, "Jade fell out of the sky near the entrance of the Sanctuary and she had no idea where she was, so we took her to Dr. Weeders and found out that she just wasn't from here."

"So where are you taking her now?"

"Home." Leila stated, "We're taking her in."

"You guys reference her like she's some sort of lost treeble!"

"Even though I don't know what a 'treeble' is I'm going to say thank you." I said.
