Chapter 4

Ana's pov

I woke up ready for the day. I think I was just gonna hang around the house with my godparents and cousins, i mean probably alone, i don't even know. I went downstairs to get breakfest and see if anyone was up but the only thong i found was a plate of pancakes in the kitchen counter and a note that said:

"Goodmorning sleepy-head I went to work and so did Janessa and Padrinho, we will all be home before noon, here are some pancakes like I know you live sweetie

Love Madrinha"

I smiled at the note and looked at the clock, it was 9 now so I only have three hours till they get back, i'm not a morning person and I do not wake up early especially in the summer so I was surprised it was 9 because I usually wake up at like 11 or 12. But i'm in California and I got make the best of it and I went to bed earlier than usual yesterday, you know to help the jet lag and all, it was like 8pm when i went to bed, I don't even go to sleep that early during school days, I go at like 10pm so ya...

I ate the pancakes my madrinha made me and then I went to my room.

I decided to go get dress, I don't like to take showers in the morning unless I have to, I always take them at night, and if I do take a shower in the morning I don't wash my hair, only at night, or reverse. I can't wash my hair twice a day or it will get really dry and ugly. My hair is really complicated.

Anyways I just threw on a pair of black sports shorts from nike and a tank top and decided to go on twitter and tweet that I had just arrived in California, I had about 9 thousand followers which were all gained in the past summer basically, because during school I didn't use social networks that much, especially because it was my junior year and I had to study harder, high school in europe is harder than in the USA so it's different.

Anyways I decided too just go for walk around the neighbourhood or something and if I sweat i'll obviously take a shower. I don't like to run because i'm lazy and it's bad for your knees, walking is clinically proved to be the best exercise so I just go for short or long walks and I like to hike and do trails. I took a bag with the keys to the house, my phone and earphones, a water bottle and of course my sunglasses. I wasn't planning to be too long, maybe an hour or something.

I left the house at 9.30 and just started walking somewhere I know it was a nice and calm place and it was close to a marina so I thought I would go that way, trying not to get lost though.

I went left because that was the way to the marina, during the drive home yesterday I kinda had figured out what a block was so I figured I had already walked like 8 blocks till I reached the marina. I took a couple of selfies and then

I got a viber text. I opened it and it was from Aaron I smiled that he had texted me.

Conversation:

Aaron: Hey good morning, you up already? :3 Watcha doing?

Ana: Morning ^^ Ya i'm up :) I went for a walk around the neighbourhood, came to the marina x) it's pretty nice and calm here

Aaron: Ya San Diego is pretty cool, I like spending my summers here with my dad :)

You know I live like 2 blocks away from the marina ;)

Ana: Really? Wanna meet me here maybe..? Idk..

Aaron: I'll be there in ten :)

Omg I can't believe i'm gonna meet up with Aaron now, and I look like crap i've still kinda got morning hair but it's in a pony tail and i'm wearing just working out clothes God. I don't really care for makeup I just usually use foundation, councelear and mascara but I've got nothing. And I have zombies eyes in the morning!

I looked around for a mirror just to see if I looked like a human being and meh, but whatever, I honestly don't really care about judgmental people and all but it was Aaron Carpenter so ya. 

Anyways I just sat there by the water waiting for Aaron thinking what I would do and say when he got here, I tend to over think things and think of the worst cenarios ever.

...What if he's just messing with me to make fun of me?...What if he stands me up and doesn't show up?...

All these thoughts in my head where interrupted by a "Hey Ana". I turn around to see Aaron smiling and waving at me has he was walking towards me I smiled at him and walked towards him and he gave me a hug. Which I wasn't expecting but it was the best and I hugged him really thight back. He smiled and said "That hug was the best" I just blushed and giggled looking down at the floor. "you know I seriously did not want you to see me like this" I said laughing and pointing at myself. "Why? You look perfect" I blushed once again causing me to look away as always "no you're perfect" I said under my breath but he must've heard it because he laughed "oh god did you hear that?" I said laughing but feeling really embarrassed.

We then sat down on a bench admiring the view and just getting to know each other, he asked me about life in portugal and I explained what were the Azores islands where I lived, which I wasn't surprised he never heard of it, most people haven't but we get a lot of tourists every year, the Azores are starting to gain fame.

Anyways he asked when was my birthday and I said "october 13, were both libras" he looked surprised and laughed "what? How do you-" i cut him off "you see, as a fangirl stalker I know your birthday is October the fifth" I said giggling and he just laughed really hard jokingly saying "creeper ahah" and kissing my cheek, which made blush.

We continued our talk until I noticed the time. It was 11 we've been together for an hour and I needed to walk back home and take a shower and all before my family got Home.

"oh crap" I said looking at my phone. "what is it" Aaron asked, "it's already eleven I need to start walking back before my godparents get home".

"I can drive you home if you want" he said, "but didn't you came walking?", "ya but my house is like two minutes away seriously and I have my own car since october now" he said with a smile. "I really don't wanna be any trouble and what about your dad? What if he says something?" I told him not wanting to annoy or anything, "I really don't like being an inconvenient" I continued "and-" I was cut off by Aaron pressing his finger against my mouth has in a shhsh movement. "1. My dad is working. 2. You are not an inconvenient, an inconvenient is something you don't like, and I like you. 3. I asked you it's not like you suggested it (he said hair quoting) like some people I know" he rolled his eyes saying this last part and then he smiled grabbed my hand and pulled me to walk.

He then let go if my hand as we were walking and I was blushing. "so you like me han?" I said elbowing him and wiggling my eyebrows and then laughing. "I think we will get along really nicely" he said smiling and we both laughed.

(A.N. Keep in my mind that this is all supposed to be next summer so all the boys are one year older so Aaron already drives and has a car ok? Sorry if it's confusing but ya, so that means that Ana and Aaron are the same age)
