Phoenix looks nervously around the classroom on the second floor of her school Kartly academy owned by her father Richard Carterson. Everyone had already taken their seats. She sat behind Daniel Michelson like she always does. Class ended like usual and kayle came to talk to her "Phaya get your head out of the clouds". Daniel leapt to his feet his tall slender body moving with him. Daniel turned and faced her with a sly grin on his face he started talking "Phoenix your dad's name is Richard Carterson right?" Phoenix looked around the room like she didn't hear him then she answered in a questioning voice "Yes,Why?" With a sad look on his face he answered "Just because." Kayle and Phoenix questioned his answer. Phaya stood up slowly, she walked out of the room with Kayle leaving the school building. Classes were over for the day and she didn't really have anything else to do. So, she went to her father's office to talk to him. " I'm here to see my father" Phaya said. Staring at Miss Calavera, her father's secretary "Go and see him, he has just finished up his 3 o'clock appointment." Phoenix headed towards her father's office, where she saw a woman she had never seen before, but the smell of the perfume she was wearing was really familiar to Phoenix. She caught a big whiff of it when the woman passed by. Suddenly Phoenix caught a tear rolling down her face. She started wiping her eyes frantically, her dad open the doors and asked, "Why are you crying? Phoenix did something happen at school today? " " No, it's just the smell of that ladies perfume! It's familiar, like I've smelled it before. But, I don't know where!" Her dad called her into the office said they needed to talk , that was the start of it. shutting the doors Mr. Carterson started talking to Phoenix as if he was trying to strike a deal with a client. "Phoenix have I ever told you about your mother?" Phoenix stared at her dad for awhile and then answered, "No, you have never told me about my mother." "Well I've been talking to some friends that put me in contact with her and the lady that just walked out of my office that, that was your mother." Tears filled Phoenix's eyes for the first time in 15 years, she had finally met her real mother.
