The city of Mitakihara has been full of life. It's a busy city where many people live their lives in peace.

They go to work morning or night and come home to loving families. Children go to school and spend time with friends.

Whenever there is danger, someone will always step in. These few fighters aren't as ordinary as policemen or firefighters. They can't always be called by the push of a button like a super hero.

These few fighters, are magical girls.

In the past few months, a witch by the name of Walpurgis had destroyed most of the city. It seemed that everything was lost, and a few good magical girls lost hope.

The first was Karii.
After wishing for her mother's revival, she fell into despair when she heard her family had died in a car accident.

The second was Shiemi.
This pop idol risked everything she loved to protect her friends and the city. Though her choices led her astray from the path she should have chosen, in the end she had found her peace with the others, only to be stricken down by the one she loved.

The third was Yukiko.
A shy priestess from a small village. She left in order to find the others that the incubator known as kyuubey had told her about. Her goal was to stop the witch together. She was so close to her wish, but her timid and nonaggressive tendencies were her undoing.

The fourth was Konoe.
This sadistic magical girl fed off of the anguish of others. She could change her appearance to match that of someone else, but in the end, she succumbed to her own pain and made terrible decisions, leading her to her death.

And the fifth was Heiri.
After watching her friends fall one by one, she was filled with despair. She laid down her life in an attempt to save the city some hardship, but before she could end it by her own hand, something new reached forward, leading her into a dark new world.

With the earth standing still, the world stood in complete darkness. Time had stopped as the space around collected and merged. Pushing and pulling in astral waves, essentially beginning over again.

Now, months later, the city of Mitakihara was at peace. The children were laughing, and the people were happy to carry on with their lives. But not everything seemed to be in order in this new born world.

This is her fall.
And this is her revelation.

Walking along the streets of Mitakihara, a short brunette was enjoying her day. Things were calm and quiet, the sound of birds echoed through the breeze as the warm atmosphere wrapped the city comfortably.

The girl's pigtails bounced and swayed with her bubbly steps as she walked briskly downtown. She would stop and look over the buildings and stalls that were set up, scattered across the park and streets.

To the northern exit of the park was a stall with balloons. The colors ranged from dark to light and each one offered joy to anyone who needed a brighter day.

It seemed like everything and everyone was happy. Nothing could possibly go wrong. The girl walked to a stall that was serving crepes and ordered her favorite. There seemed to be some sort of festival going on. Perhaps the cherry blossoms were about to bloom, and the country was celebrating yet another year of prosperity.

She smiled as she received her treat, walking further into the park. She took a bite of the candy that protruded from her snack. Everything was perfect in her mind, but she couldn't help to feel like something was missing.

She stopped as a flock of birds flew overhead, disturbing the flowers around the park. She looked further to the east to see a lone boy sitting on the bench.
