Alone & Abused-Chapter 9

                                                                -Eli’s POV-

                So freaking rude!  “Katelynn..?” I speak quietly. She ran into the girl’s bathroom and ran in a stall. I went in the girl’s room, not really caring, luckily there is no one else in here. I knock lightly on the stall door. “Come on, Kate..I know it’s hard to learn you got cheated on but now you can show Ashton what’s he’s missing!” I laugh slightly. I truly hate Ashton but he thinks we are okay. But we aren’t even close to “okay”. I hear her cry out, “But why would he do that?! Did I do something wrong?!”

“Katelynn! You did nothing wrong! He’s just a player.” She cracks the stall door open about an inch. “That’s my girl.” I smile and grab her hand to pull her out and out of the bathroom. Someone walks by and sees us both get out of the girls bathroom. The girl goes and whispers something to someone else. Great. I look around and get in a janitor’s closet. I trip on something and before I know it, I’m soaking wet. Katelynn turns the light on and I see I tipped over the dirty mop water. Gross. I get up and laugh slightly. “Katelynn, you don’t need him. You deserve much much better.”

“I guess so.. I just-“ We hear someone raddle the doorknob so I turn off the lights and get in a corner with Katelynn.  The two people walk in and instantly start making out. It’s pitch black and I look at the couple and squint my eyes. Who are they? “Oh..” The female speaks. Katelynn whispers in my ear saying, “I’m gonna turn on the lights. This is disgusting.” She laughs quietly and gets up. The lights turn on and the couple turn to us. “Ashton!” Katelynn yells.  “I-She’s- She’s my cousin.” He stands still. The other girl slaps his arm and says, “Cousin?! That’s not what you were saying last-“

“KATELYNN..Uh..” He speaks loudly so Katelynn can’t hear what the other girl said. But it was way too obvious. “I CANT BELIEVE YOU WOULD DO SOMETHING LIKE THIS?! HOW COULD YOU?!” Katelynn screams. I look at her and mouth “Shh or people will hear.”

“I’m sorry, you were nice and all but-“

“Sorry means absoululty nothing. Ugh, Harry was right.” She rubs her forehead and wipes some tears away. “Harry?” Ashton speaks, clearly still jealous. “What was Harry right about?” His face full of disgust. I don’t want to get into it and niether does the other girl so we just watch and don’t speak. “You.” She rolls her eyes as more tears fall down her cheeks. “What about me?! He doesn’t know anything.” He laughs. “He knows more than you.” She slaps him right across the face. “Oh!” I laugh and cover my mouth. She looks at him for a second and storms out of the closet. I go after her but get tripped. “What the-“ I look up and see Ashton. “You did this didn’t you.” He pulls me up by my wet t-shirt.

                                                                                -Katelynn’s POV-

                Why did he have to cheat on me.. “I’m sorry, you were nice and all but-“ Whats that supposed to mean! I treated him the best I could! For his birthday, I bought him a car, with the money I was saving up for emergencies. Yeah. Emergencies. I cry and run down the halls. I can’t stay in this school today. “Ow.” Someone speaks as I run into them. We both look at each other. “Katelynn, I didn’t mean anything I said and I feel really bad and-Why are you crying? What’s wrong? Did something happen?” Harry speaks, concern glistening in his green eyes.

“Ashton-He-“ I cry and hug him tightly.

                                                                                -Harry’s POV-

                Ashton better watch what’s coming. “Baby, I’m so-“ I freeze. Baby? I pet her hair and let her hug me, not saying anything after that. She cries on my shoulder and hugs me tightly. No one walks out of class. The halls to ourselves. I kiss the top of her head and speak quietly, “Shh…It’s okay…”
