Thank you to anyone who asked questions, but I just haven't had the motivation to work on this anymore lately. So I'm going to be closing it for the foreseeable future. Enjoy what I did end up writing I suppose.

Vikare pauses to adjust his goggles, deep in thought. He suddenly starts talking again as if just remembering he was supposed to be doing something.
~I would say my interest in such forbidden things stems from my love of exploration! In space, there is nothing but void for miles around, in contrast to our beautiful planet of Alternia which is simply brimming with possibility for investigation!~
He nods solemnly before continuing.
~What's more, I long to view the planet from a new perspective, one that no one has had the joy of appreciating yet. Could you imagine that? Being able to see something completely unique to you? How astounding that would be.~
Just then, he trails off, his voice turns shaky and uncertain. A sharp contrast to his previous bravado.
~I suppose there is also the fact that the Heiress gives me the willies. I don't fancy working for her at all. But with the power of atmospheric flight, I might stand a chance of evading her.~
He stops talking for a long time and then perks up again.

Oof, I hope that was satisfactory as a first attempt. Vikare is a tough troll to write for just cause of how he talks and also, I've never done anything like this before. Sorry, it took so long as well. I spent the month of June writing stuff for Pride Month.
