We sat down on the soft sand and looked around. The beach was practically empty, it's never like this. This is one of the busiest beaches on the coast. There's a family at one end and a couple down by the sea then it's just us.

I take off my boots, it's not right to not be barefoot at the beach. I wiggle my toes in the sand and close my eyes.

This has so many memories for me, I used to come here as a child, me and my brother used to have so much fun here. I miss him so much. He died in 2009 when I was only fourteen he was seventeen. He died in a car crash, a three car pile up. His friend and him both died on the scene and the woman in the other car died in hospital leaving behind a two year old child. In the third car there was a male driver who's name was never released to the press. He was apparently questioned but there was said to be no case against him.

Stuart breaks the reminissing by asking to go down to the water and Fi agrees but I tell them I'd rather stay here so I pull my shades from my head, place them over my eyes and lie back enjoying the sun. I lie like this for 20 minutes or so before something disturbs me.

"Mia?" I hear an unfamiliar voice say.

I turn round to see a beautiful guy, around 22 years old I'd say. Three or four years older than myself. He has blonde beachy looking hair and sparkling, eccentric blue eyes.  His body doesn't disappoint either, with muscly arms, legs and an extremely toned core - with V-lines that could kill.

"Mia, you left your keys at McDonald's" he stated inturupting my gaze.

I had three well thought out questions but they all came out mumbled and jumbled.

"my name you know, how am I here, know my keys how?!" I mange to splutter whilst hiding my red cheeks.

"Your name's on your key chain, I followed you here and I know they're your keys as I saw you drop them"

"wow, thanks for bringing them here, I thought I'd lost them before I even got to McDonald's."

"It's fine" he replies in a very strong Newcastle accent and offers me a hand up which I gladly accept.

He shakes my hand once I'm standing

"Harvey Brooks, law student, part time swimsuit model" he retorts with a grin.

I stare through my sunglasses at his beautiful face. He once again inturupting my stare says

"and you would be? Except a tropical princess of course"

"As if! And Mia Tallone, phycology student and full time bitch" I reply mocking his initial introduction.

He laughed as he lifted his arms to his head and swept the hair out of his eyes. My only thought was wow.

"Fancy a walk?"

"Why yes indeed I would Mia, pet." at that I knew he was a true geordie.

As we walked along side each other I felt so comfortable with him, and I did feel very much the tropical princess, except for the headache of course.
