Lilly's POV
I was fast asleep when all of a sudden I woke up screaming and crying. My scream sounded like a banshee.
Lukas's POV
I heard Lilly's scream and cry. I ran into her room and grabbed a hold of her. "Hey hey hey Lilly calm down." I said. "B-Branden!" She screamed. "No no no. I'm not Branden. It's me. It's Lukas." I said as I placed my hand on her cheek.
"It's ok Babygirl. I'm here. Come here." I said as I pulled her towards me and hugged her tightly. She cried in my chest. I could tell she was really scared. Branden always scared her when she was younger.
"It's alright babygirl. I'm here. I'm here." I said. I ran my fingers through her short brown hair.
"Hey. I'm not gonna let him hurt you. I promise. I'll be here no matter what." I said as I placed my hand on her cheek. "What if he does?" Lilly cried. "I'll kill him. I won't let anything happen to you." I said. I hugged her again. "I love you Lukas." Lilly said. "I love you too Lilly." I said.
