Same afternoon, gynaecologist's​ clinic-

Adwait(at reception)- Hello i had an appointment with Dr. Khanna by name of mrs avni adwait sinha

R- just a second sir

R-yes sir
You have an appointment with dr khanna
First floor, last room towards the right

Ad- thanks
He holds avni's hand tightly& takes her with him while she winces in pain

Dr. Khanna's cabin-

Avni& adwait enter the cabin while the doctor was busy in a file
He told him to have a seat while he finishes his file

Avni noticed the name plate-
"Neil Khanna HOD- Obstetrics" which clearly meant that she was pregnant
OR probably it was just adwait who thought so

A/N- For the unknown- Obstetrician is a doc who deals with the care of a pregnant lady& the unborn baby, labor, delivery &everything related to pre& post childbirth

Neil closed his file& faced the couple-

He noticed that while adwait looked confident, avni looked extremely worried as if she wasnt ready for a child

Neil called the nurse &told her to do avni's body checkup& collect all necessary samples
The nurse followed suit

After about 25 minutes-

N-we have taken all the necessary samples of mrs sinha
You will get the reports in an hour or so

Neil was still observing avni- though she was smiling, her eyes told a completely different story

An hour later-

Avni& adwait got the reports &while adwait had a wild smirk on his face, avni's face had lost all the color it had- that too, if any
Neil noticed this

The unexpected had happened-
She was pregnant

N-you will have to come to the hospital after every 1.5 month for checkup

Adwait-sure doctor
He turns to avni &in smirky tone says- congratulations wife
He hugged her with an evil smirk on his face

Avni(to herself)- oh no!
I will have to go through all that trouble &pain- all over again!!
She was terrified at the mere thought of facing everything
Unlike other women, this was noway near a good news for her

They left the hospital &went back home

Adwait called up his mom

Ad-congratulations mom
Aap dadi banne wali h- for the SEVENTH time

K-wow!!!
Men kal hi Mumbai wapas ati hu

Ad- I will be waiting
He disconnected the call &turned to avni

Ad(smirking)-itni badi khushi ki baat h
Celebration toh banta h

Avni's eyes welled up in tears while he again forced himself on her

At neil's house-

While sipping on his coffee, he was going through avni's medical history when he came across some reports which stated that since the day avni got married, she has faced 6 miscarriages till then

Neil was in utter shock
He connected most of the dots- her body being dull& weak, low self esteem &almost no interest in becoming a mother- as if shes been forced to do all this
Neil thought that something is extremely fishy bcz 6 continuous miscarriages are only possible when everything is "planned beforehand"
He decided to talk to avni asap
