Velvet's POV

Waking up to Loudred's voice scared me. I didn't even know he could be louder then he already is. I got up and stretch out my muscles before giving Jade a good shake because she fell back asleep. "Come on. The sun is up and we should be up." I said to her. Jade got up and yawn before falling in step behind me to head for the conference room so we can do our morning cheers. Just when Jade and I were going to look at the bulletins to see what missions were out there for us to do, Chatot stops us. "Velvet. Jade. I have an errand for you to do. Is it possible that you guys could run into town and ask the Kecleon brothers if they have any perfect apples? We are low on stock for our guildmaster." He asked.

Jade and I happily agreed. "Come on, Jade. Let's go so we could at least do one mission before dark fall upon us." I said to her. Before we could even leave, we hear Loudred and Diglett arguing back and forth. "I don't even know this footprint." yelled Diglett. "Are you kidding me? You make Jade and Velvet better at scentry duty then you!" Loudred yelled back. "Shut it, Loudred." I said before going up the ladder. After everything was quiet, some pokemon climb down the steps....well, float down the steps of the ladder. He was a ghost type pokemon and the kind of ghost pokemon that you don't see around here. Chatot gasp loudly. "Oh my Arceus! You are the legendary Dusknoir!" He said. The room was full with gasp and loud commotion as everyone went to him. Jade and I stay in the back. "The legendary Dusknoir?" I asked, confused.

Jade's POV

"Yes. He is one of the best explorer of all times. They say there was never a place that was left unexplored and he is willing to be his life on the line to save many pokemon that needs help." I said. Velvet only nodded. "Come on, we got an errand to do." She said before quietly slipped out of the guild. I followed close behind. We headed for Treasure Town where we quickly went to the Kecleon Brother Shop. "Hello Kecleon Brothers." I said with wave. Velvet smiled before asking them about the restock of Perfect Apples. Sadly, they didn't have any and they won't get any till two days from now. Then we heard a voice. Velvet and I turns our heads to see Dusknoir. The Kecleon brothers were excited to see the Great Dusknoir and so did I. Velvet just sat there. "Im sorry, Jade. I just don't trust him quite yet." She said before walking back to the guild.

Just as we were about to leave, Marill and Azurill came up. "Marill. Azurill. How are you guys?" I asked. Marill was smiling very big and Azurill was using his talk to bounce up and down. "You wouldn't believe that someone found our missing Water Float. We are going to the beach to see if it's there." Marill said happily. Velvet smiled. "That's amazing. I'm happy for you." She said. I only nods. Marill and Azurill went down to the beach and we head back to the guild.

Velvet's POV

Returning to the guild and telling Chatot that the Kecleon brothers were not going to be stocking up on Perfect Apple anytime soon made us nervous. Nevertheless, we told him. Chatot's feather seems to have turn into a lighter shade for paling. "Well then, looks like I have to go to Apple Woods and get them myself." He said before climbing up the ladder to head out. Jade and I were on the first floor, looking for adventure and possibly any danger that needs to be corrected.

Suddenly we were being called to come outside. I looked at Jade and she looked back at me. We were confused. "Who could be calling us?" She asked. I simply shrug before climbing the ladder to head out of the guild.

When we were out, we came face to face with a worried Marill and Azurill. "Guys, what's the matter?" I asked. I wasn't expecting to be heading out to get back what was stolen from them.

Jade's POV

Apparently, the water ring was a fake and some Pokemon stole the real one. The real one was now in depth of the Amp Plains where we could easily find it. We never knew the danger we could face.

No One's POV

Dusknoir return to the guild, looking for Jade and Velvet. He asked Chatot. "Oh? They went to Amp Plains." He said. Dusknoir started to worry. "Oh no. During this time of year Amp Plains is...." He started but never finish his sentence as he left the guild in search for Velvet and Jade as they made their way to Amp Plains.

Velvet's POV

Walking carefully in the Amp Plains while battling many electrical types is very difficult. Every time that Jade and I thought we were in the clear, we would instantly get attack again but electrical type Pokemon. I wonder why is there so many electrical type pokemon during this time of year. I could never understand that since we enter the Amp Plains.

Finally, we reach the end of the Amp Plains where we found the water ring that we have been looking for. "Alright, Jade. This is it." I said. "Just grab the water ring so we can get out of here." Jade nods and only took one step towards the ring before we got surrounded by 8 Electrikes and their leader, Manetric. I immediately knew we were in trouble.

Jade's POV

Talk about bad timing. Just one step and we are Sensurround by 8 Electrikes and Manetric. This can't be good. Manetric step forward, growling. "Listen here. These plains are ours and we don't like intruders in our plains. It is time for you to leave." Manetric said. Velvet must have not process the words fast enough in her head because she step forward. "We aren't leaving until we get that water ring which belongs to somebody else." She said.

Manetric look beyond upset and growls. "I guess we have to make you." He said. Before long a battle was in state.

No One's POV

Velvet and Jade battle hard. They were struggling, but they were able to come out on top for most of the battle, yet they didn't last long. They were completely surround by the Electrikes and Manetric. Jade was trembling from fear and possibly being exhausted as well. Velvet took place in front of her, just in case of anything. 

Manetric only smirks as he bows his head slowly. "Aw. You have won against us. Please get what you need and come out of the Amp Plains." He said before leaving with his little army of Electrikes following behind him. Velvet and Jade looks at each other before going to where the Water Float was. 

Before Velvet could even grab it, they were blocked by Team Skull. Jade looked shocked. "I thought we lost you guys at the expedition." She said. Their leader, Skunktank only cackle. "You couldn't lose to us, wimps. We will be taking this water float and get a handsomely huge amount of money from these two water pokemon that you are "supposingly" helping" He said. "Get ready, Weezing! Time for Noxious Special Gas Combo." Weezing and Skunktank stand next to each other, ready to get attack...only to be attack by Dusknoir. 

"If you want to get to them, you have to get through me" Dusknoir said. Velvet and Jade looks at each before nodding. Team Skull tremble in their boots. "Let's get out of here, boys! We would be able to go against those wimps...but not the great Dusknoir." Skunktank said before leading his group out of Amp Plains. 

Velvet and Jade looks at each before quickly thanking Dusknoir, grabbing the water float and leaving all together. When they return into Maril and Azurill, Velvet happily gave Azurill the water float. Azurill and Maril were happy and gave them a revival seed and a Oran berry as their award.

Another day and Another adventure completed.
