Jade's POV
Waking to Loudred's voice is terrible. Absolutly terrible. You think you could get use to pokemon that loud by now, then you have another thing coming. Waking up to him is like waking up to someone blowing an airhorn in your ears.
I woke up after I got the ringing out of my ears before moving over to Velvet, checking if she is ok. After we rub our sore ears and get out to do our morning routine, we were ready to go out and help pokemon.
That was the plan...until Loudred called us aside. "Look here, rookies. Diglett is doing his father's job because he isn't here. So that means he can't do his sentry duty." he told. "And what does this have to do with us?" asked Velvet.
"You are going in sentry duty." he said. He left no room for agruement. "Um? Loudred? What is sentry duty?" I asked.
"It's easy. All you got to do is go down that hole over there. Walk through the passage down there and look up and see the hole with gates. You look at pawprints and tell me what they are. I open the gate to the guild. Simple simple." he said.
Yeah, so we did. It was hard to get through the passage to find the hole opening, but we did. We got every paw right and got a prize or prizes. Our treasure bag got bigger, we got some more oran berries, and we got a bow that makes our attacks more critical hits if one of us wears it.
After eating dinner, we went to bed, hoping we don't have to do this tomorrow.
