Devil pov
It's been awhile since Eclipse passed out due to starvation, denigration, and the multiple wounds he accumulated. How long? About 3 years and 7 months. A long time. I know. I would either be by his side or distracting myself with paperwork.

Iris walked in my office with a small smile. She hadn't be very cheery since Eclipse had been out so this must be good. I looked up with a raised brow.

"He's awake. He doesn't remember much, but he's awake." She whispered and I had to strain my ears to hear her. Her eyes were calm but also held sadness.

"What's the catch? What does he remember?"

"Nothing. He didn't know who I was..." She said softly and I nearly choked. 'If he didn't remember his twin sister, there's a slim chance he would remember me.' I thought bitterly. I got up and headed out.

Walking into the room, his head snapped towards me. "Oh. I'm sorry. I thought you were someone else."

"Who did you think I was? If you don't mind me asking."

"This crazy girl. She said her name was Jenna. I was scared and too focused on her that I made someone else upset. I'm sorry." I sighed as I looked around the room.

"Is something wrong?" He asked almost formally. I internally cringed and I looked to him in the eyes. My eyes widened when I noticed that his were four coloured. Left is red and blue while the right is a silver and steal grey.

"Your eyes..." he flinch, "Their amazing... holy crap." I said and he gave me wide eyes and a flushed face.

"U-ummm.... th-thank you...." he mumbled and I gave a soft chuckle. 'So cute.' I thought and got up to move some stuff around in the room. I moved a small file over to uncover a small pocket watch. But knowing Jenna, this is how she finds stuff out. Listening device. I grabbed it and growled softly.

"Jenna. What are you doing?" I whispered and a small figure came up beside me.

"She said something about wanting to get you to herself. Saying that I took you away mister." Eclipse spoke and I jumped.

"Please don't do that. You scared me. My name is Devil by the way. And, Jenna said that?"

"Mm-hm she seemed really angry at me. It was kind of scary Mister Devil."

"Just Devil is fine. Did she threaten you?"

"Not really. Just empty threats I saw through. Why? Isn't she your girlfriend?"

"No... I believe I have a boyfriend but something happened to him and he doesn't really remember me." I said, chipping the glass of the watch and taking out the device. I destroyed it and soon, Eclipse had wrapped his arms around my waist.

"I was acting. Jenna's scary at times. I asked Iris to act a small bit as well. Hello Devil~ I find it lovely you think of me that way. And I never knew you liked my eyes~."

"You sneaky little jerk." I joked and he giggled.

"Of course." He gave a smile and I hugged him properly. "I'm hungry." He mumbled and I started laughing.

"No seriously. I feel like I haven't eaten in years. How long was I out?"

"3 years and 7 months. Long time, I know."

"Really? Well. Then we have 3 years and 7 months worth of things to do to make up for it!" His stomach growled. "After I get something to eat." He giggled.

"Follow me love." I picked him up and carried him bride style to the kitchen. He was laughing his ass off and I was too. So I struggled keeping him from dropping.

We made it to the kitchen and I ended up falling as the two of us were laughing. The chiefs all looked at us like we were crazy but gave a smile anyways. I was laughing. I haven't let a smile appear on my lips since Eclipse passed out.

We soon calmed down and one of the female chiefs came over. "It's lovely to see you smiling again Sire. What may we do for the two of you?"

I chuckled. "Eclipse needs some food. Mind?"

"Not in the slightest. What would the lovely like?"

"U-Umm... c-currie?"

"Sure. Just a side note, I like currie too." She whispered the last part and Eclipse nodded. She got started making the food and the two of us sat up on the floor. We had interesting conversations. Some of the chiefs joined in as well. It was fun. When Eclipse's currie was made, he thanked them.

He finished only one saying he didn't want to get sick and sat back on the floor with me. The two of us continued conversing. We had fun that day. Best day of my life. I honestly thought I had lost him. I was so scared. The first person I had ever truly loved could've died and it would be half my fault. I was unable to help him when he needed it most. My laughter became somewhat forced and I believe Eclipse caught on.

"You alright?"

"I'm fine."

"Nope. Nada nope-idy-nope. That 'I'm fine' means the opposite. What's on your mind?"

"It's my fault this all happened. I was unable to help you when you needed it m-"

"It's not your fault." He said, in a very matter-a-fact tone. I looked up to him with a small bit of confusion. He had his left cheek puffed up and his eyes didn't hold any playfulness. Completely and utterly serious.

"Bu-"

"Nope. No 'buts'. Its not your fault. I hear you say it again and I'll slap you." He hissed slightly and I nodded. The chiefs didn't even say anything. I glanced around and saw that they were slightly giggling. Huffing a small bit, I nodded and looked around with a pout. Eclipse let out a soft giggle of his own while shacking his head. As much as this conversation ended up against me, this is nice. Refreshing even. I'm glad he's okay.
