The next morning Finn and Rory awoke to Lyn's cry. It was 4:30, not wanting to wake up the guest or his two boys, Finn got up and went to get his daughter.

"So how is my little Princess this morning? Are you ready for your breakfast my love? Of course you are, you are part Gilmore and we can't keep a Gilmore Girl waiting for her breakfast, now can we."

Finn changed her diaper and her sleeper. He then carried her into their bedroom and handed her to her mommy. Rory was already sitting up propped against the headboard of her bed. He loved watching his wife nurse his children. He leaned over and kissed the nursing infant on her head. Neither he or Rory had been early risers, but since having children they found they had no choice but to wake up. He put his arm around her and pulled her close to him and closed his eyes leaning his head on hers. He felt her stir and half opened his eyes to see that she had switched sides. He closed his eyes and fell back to sleep. Rory slipped out of bed and placed Lyn in the bassinet that they had in their room for these morning feedings. She crawled back into bed and cuddled with her husband. It seems like they hadn't been asleep for long when she felt little hands on her face.

"Mama, Up"

"Liam, shh Lyn is asleep. What do you want?"

"Up. Come mama."

She quietly slipped out of bed and put on her robe and slippers. Quickly checking on her daughter she took her two-year-old and brought him to the kitchen. He started to climb into the highchair, but she decided to check his pull up first. It was still dry, so she convinced him to use the potty. He went, and she praised him and gave him his two M&M's. She sat him in his high chair and asked him what he wanted, and he said, " Nana's Milk and cakes."

"Ok but mama has to make it first, can you wait? Mama will give you some apples while you are waiting, ok?"

He nodded, and she handed him his apple pieces and she put on the coffee pot. She filled the tea kettle and had it ready to turn on when her in-laws woke up in case they wanted tea in the morning. She pulled out the frozen pancakes that Finn had made ahead and put one in the toaster oven for him. She then filled his cup with milk and added a little coffee and handed it to him and then prepared her own mug of coffee. When the toaster oven dinged, she took out his pancake and placed the pancake in his Thomas the Train dish. She added a little bit of syrup on the plate and cut up his pancake into bite-size pieces. She then handed it to him and he sat there eating happily. She looked at the clock and noticed it was six o'clock. If she were lucky Lyn would sleep until eight. She finished her coffee and poured herself a second mug. Liam finished his pancakes and then she washed his hands and face. She lifted him out of his high chair and stood him on the floor.

"Liam, do you want to go into the other room and watch cartoons with Mama?" she asked him.

"Yes," he responded then ran into the family room where the large 54-inch television was set up on the wall. He climbed on to the leather recliner and waited for her. She added more milk to his Nana's milk and took her coffee to the family room. She lifted him up and sat him on her lap and then took the remote control and selecting the Netflix Kids app, she searched the menu for a program he would watch. As soon as he saw Mickey Mouse's face he said, "Me watch Mickey, Mama."

She pointed the remote to the TV and turned on the show. She handed him his cup that she had placed on the table beside them and then cuddled with him in the recliner while they watched Mickey and the Beanstalk. She loved these moments when she had one on one time with her children. Liam cuddled in her lap and put his head on her chest. Every once in a while he would sit up and ask her a question but most of the time he would sit there in his mother's arms. She lost herself in a daydream while he watched his movie.
