I arrive half an hour before class starts, just as Professor Do asked of me. I peek into the classroom to find him writing our assignments on the board. He notices me and smiles. "Ahh you're here, please take a seat." I take a seat and listen on what he has to say.

"So Y/N, I've been watching you cook for some time and you have been doing amazing, progressing amazingly." He starts off. I get shy. "Aww Thanks. I have been practicing a lot." I reply.

"Yes, and I have a huge offer for you. Famous chefs from America have been looking at you. Remember when they visited and tasted your dishes I recommended to them?" I nod remembering. "Well they've been considering for you to come there and study for two years, what do you think?"

I'm speechless. This is such a great opportunity for me but that would mean leaving Taeyong here in Seoul for two years. "Umm if I go, when do I have to leave?" I ask. "Next week. Ticket is paid for and everything." Professor Do smiles. "Can you give me some time to think it over?" He nods. "But only two days."

I sit against a tree and think of the whole offer I've just been given. I really want to go, but I don't want to be away from Taeyong.

Y/N: Hey

Taeddy ❤️: Hey babe, how are you? Are you on your break?

Y/N: Yeah

Taeddy ❤️: You seem down, what's wrong

Y/N: I have to tell you something important

Taeddy ❤️: Anything

Y/N: So I've been offered to go to study at America for culinary and nutrition

Taeddy ❤️: Omg that's amazing!!

Y/N: Ikr! It is! But it's for two years

Taeddy ❤️: Two years?

Y/N: Yeah... I don't want to leave you

Y/N: I really want to be with you

Taeddy ❤️: I can tell you want to go

Taeddy ❤️: You deserve it Y/N

Y/N: Thank you, But will you be ok?

Taeddy ❤️: It's just two years right?

Y/N: That's a long time

Taeddy ❤️: Oh Y/N what am I gonna do without you

Y/N: I don't have to go Taeyong, it's ok

Taeddy ❤️: Yeah but I don't want you to miss out on such a great opportunity

Y/N: So you're ok if I accept? That means I leave next week from today

Taeddy ❤️: I'm fine, I'll make sure I spend every second of it with you

Taeddy ❤️: Actually, we have an interview today, I'll stop by your place after

Y/N: Oh ok, well I'll be waiting, now Cheerio my amigo

I laugh and put my phone up. I hope he's ok with me going abroad.

All of NCT know about my trip to America and are sad and happy. I know I'll miss them very much. Taeyong and I made sure to spend as much time together as we could.

Stacy Bug: Ahh Taeil told me about you going to America

Y/N: oh yeah..... I am going

Stacy Bug: Yeah,  So how have you been doing?

Y/N: I've been doing well. So how's you and Taeil going?

Stacy Bug: Awww you're making me blush

Y/N: So I take that you guys have been doing well also

Stacy Bug: Yep, talking everyday lol

Y/N: Lol ok that's nice, I have to go, ttyl!

Stacy Bug: Ok welp nice talking to you!

"Who was that?" Taeyong asked me as we were walking on a trail. "It was Stacy." "Oh yeah? What did she say?" "She was just asking how I was and about my trip." He nods and we continue walk. The breeze was nice, until it started to get stronger.

My hat flew off my head and landed on the pond beside us. "Oh no! My hat!" I exclaim, running toward the pond. That was the hat Taeyong got me as a gift.

"Don't go I the water, I'll get it." Taeyong dives in and retrieves my hat. "You didn't have to do that." I say laughing as I hold the hat in my hand. "And you're soaking wet!" I take my small jacket and put it around his shoulders.

He was wearing a white shirt on top of this so his upper body was revealed. I blush and try to ignore it. "You Know you like it Y/N." He smirks and raises his eyebrows up and down. "Ha you're funny." And I push him into the pool again.
