- Sam Aiter's Perspective -
"So, are we going the right way?" I ask, trekking past the feast location.
"Yeah, I saw them coming from this way." Ray says, pointing in front of us. I can barely see a peak showing over the tree line, like the top of a structure. I haven't seen this yet.
To my surprise, it's the top of a house. I see a girl up on top. It looks like.. Dean's district partner.
"Dean, is that-" I begin.
"Rana?" He says. "Yes. With a Crossbow."
"Is she lookout? Or..." Ray trails off.
"Definitely." I say. "So what's the plan?"
"I'll go out and talk to Ray." Dean says. "She doesn't like to kill, especially not when it's her District Partner."
"I'll go around to the back of the house while you distract Rana." Ray says. "Sam, what are you going to do?"
"I'll hang back until the battle starts. Hit them by surprise." I say, and Dean walks out into the open area.
- Rana Massie's Perspective -
I see someone walk out past the trees, hands up. I aim at the figure and barely keep from pulling the trigger. That is because I recognize him. It's Dean, my District Partner.
"Rana?" He asks. He looks somewhat fearful.
"Dean?" I ask back. He nods his head, and I drop down from the lookout.
"Why are you here?" I ask. "Get our of here while you still can."
"Not before I ask you a question." He says. "Did you or either from 4 find an Air Strike Launcher in the feast?"
"No." I say, confused. "There were two bags left over, but we didn't find a Launcher."
Dean quickly looks away, his arms dropping down to his sides. He's deep in thought, like he just figured something bad out.
"What is it?" I asked.
"The girl from 7..." He begins. "She used us..."
"Spit it out!" I say.
"The girl from 7 is trying to use us to fight you three." He says, and I start to worry. "She said she'd go around to the back side while I talked."
He quickly looks to my left, and I do as well. Nothing. "She's already at the house." He says.
"I gotta hel-" I start, choking on my own breath as he grabs my hand.
"Come with us." He says. "I won't kill you if you don't, but you know they'll just kill you whenever it's convenient."
ginasone1 What do you do? Leave Riko and Willow to join Dean and Sam, or the other way around?
- Willow Winterfall's Perspective -
I wake up to shuffling. I quickly get a grip on my bow, but someone lunges for me out of the corner of my eye. I stop them, and they're on top of me pushing a knife towards my throat.
"Riko!" I yell. I hear more scuffling from inside, and the girl flies off of me and into a wall. She slowly rolls over, Syringe Gun in hand. She stole it. F*cking thief!
Riko charges towards her, but she turns around the wall just In Front of the front door. He slides in, shooting his ballistic knife at her. He clips her arm, making her Yelp in pain. Riko jumps for her, but she runs out of the door quick enough to where Riko misses.
The floorboards crack and Riko falls through into a previously unknown basement. I chase after the girl, trying to draw an arrow from my quiver. But then I remember that I didn't pick up my quiver. I run back inside and grab it, as Riko finally pulls himself out of the basement.
A bolt flies into the girl's satchel, just barely missing her actual body. She ducks behind a giant rock, and I look to my left. Rana stands there with two boys. The ones from 11 and 12.
"I've got this." Riko says, and I nod. I look back towards the cliff, and see the girl running on the cliff side. A giant wall of stone is to her right, with a massive drop to her left. There's enough stone there to make lining up a shot very difficult.
